Super Hall Open Weekends Gift Shop and cafes check opening times Free Carpark as is access to the country park. Country park has a nice figure of 8 walk. Dog friendly in the country park.
Nice historical place to visit if you are in the area. It is free and shows the use of Oakwell Hall with all it's original features. Highly recommend and has some extensive grounds. There is free parking just outside the building and also a gift shop for visitors.
This was a surprising gem of a place to visit. Oakwell Hall is surrounded by some lovely walks though trees and opens fields. The paths are well maintained, although some are not suitable for less than the sure footed and there are steps. A children's playground is among the trees.nnThe hall is open in the afternoon. All free, but it's well worth a visit and volluntary donation.
Lovely place for families, I went to a dog fun day show and weather was poor. Last year good weather and made it a totally different experience. Worth a visit, good venue for events.
What a beautiful building! Free entry there's a machine inside to donate towards the maintenance of the building. Coffee van on site selling good coffee and cake, and there's also a little shop/café. Gardens are just as stunning. Absolute gem!
