Visited today travelling from Altrincham. What a fabulous experience we had ! Although we had gone specially for dressmaking fabrics downstairs the selection of fabrics for curtains/upholstery etc was extensive. Upstairs there was everything a dressmaker could desire. All the fabrics were neat and tidy, well organised and displayed. All sorts of haberdashery, the choice was endless. Excellent quality fabrics all reasonably priced, some discounted. The Lady who served us was fabulous too nothing was too much trouble. When there were customers waiting the man from downstairs came up to help out. Think he may have been the owner sorry I didn't ask their names He rang their other shop in Sheffield for me to see if they had any of a particular fabric left. Sadly not. However he chatted with us for quite some time telling us about his suppliers and new stock he was expecting . Nothing beats being able to see and touch the fabric when so many fabric suppliers are now online only. We will 100% be going back soon !!! Well done you deserve continued success!!!! Fantastic shop for all sewing needs. Thousands of fabrics and haberdashery items. Really helpful friendly staff who have excellent knowledge. Highly recommended.
What a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with a friend. Fabulous array of fabrics, trimmings and sewing accessories. Lovely, friendly approachable staff made the visit even more delightful. Will definitely recommend & return to.
Big selection of all fabrics, trims, buttons etc. Parking is free on site, upper floor mount not be accessible to those with disabilities

Very helpful staff members, helped us completely no knowledge of upholstery find what we needed along with other helpful recommendations! Definitely recommend and will be returning when needing materials for next project. Also very good and understanding with our young son who wasn't quite as entranced with the treasure trove of fabrics as we were!
Lots of lovely dress fabrics at very reasonable prices The corduroy I bought turned out to be extremely fragile. Lots of tears on first wash and, when I took off a v loose fitting pair of trousers the entire back seam was open!! On a positive note - gave us a good laugh.
Wanted some curtain lining fabric. Wandered around the shop twice trying to find it, all the staff were serving other customers and I could tell they were going to be a long time, so I left without the fabric I needed. Bought it online instead.
Excellent shop for upholstery, soft furnishing and dress fabrics. Always find something for my projects. The staff are friendly and helpful. Mixed range of prices from clearance to mid/high.
Went to Glass monkey studios for a glass making workshop as a Christmas present, it was excellent, really relaxed and fun. My creative efforts were no where near as beautiful as their products though
