I was recently treated for a surgical procedure at Oaklands Hospital by Dr H Maxwell, and I genuinely cannot fault the care I received from start to finish. Both he and the entire hospital team were exceptional. From my very first consultation through to the aftercare, I was put completely at ease - especially important as this was my first ever surgery. I’m incredibly grateful for the kindness, and reassurance I received throughout the whole process. Thank you. I would definitely recommend Oaklands.
Kind and caring people.nFirst surgery I’ve had and I was definitely very scared. I was treated with dignity, kindness and patience throughout the entire process. The receptionist was excellent when I phoned, as I’d worked myself up about the procedure. The consultant Qutayba Almerie was brilliant, took the time to meet with me again to talk me though everything and calm me down before. Everyone on the day was brilliant also. I would like to say thank you specifically to the lady who collected me from my room for surgery, I believe her name was Ellen, she was so kind and understanding. She comforted me all the way down and until I was put under the anaesthetic, honestly think I would have done a runner If it wasn’t for her.nSurgery Is definitely not something I wanted, nor do I ever want it again, but you all made the experience as good as it could have been and if I ever do need it again, I hope it’s at this hospital.nThank you
I attended yesterday for an MRI scan of my small bowel. I was very nervous due to personal circumstances. However, as soon as I arrived I was met with care, compassion, laughter and friendly staff.nnHuge thanks to Ronnie on reception who was very caring and the OPS manager who assured me my results would be back in time for my next appointment.nnFinally but most thankfully goes to Akeel and Junaid in the radiology department who were amazing. They were so patient, kind, reassuring and checked on me throughout the scan. I am no longer scared of MRI scans. Thanks to each and everyone of you.nnSending you my best wishes.
I had a knee replacement at Oaklands on Tuesday the 21st of April.nThe best hospital experience possible.nThe operation went really well. The staff were great. The room and food were fantastic.nThey couldn’t do enough for me.nSomething that I usually have a problem with is foreign staff’s accent due to having hearing aids. It wasn’t a problem as I could understand all that was said.nThanks to all
Absolute pleasure to be treated at this hospital. I was referred by GP over osteoarthritis in my knee 2 years ago. From being greeted by the lovely reception staff to meeting Dr Shah my treatment has been 10/10. Just had my first knee replacement the Care from the nurses and PTs were amazing. Thanks again :-
