By far the best Kennels we’ve used in 20+ years. Been taking our dogs to Oakenshaw for many years now & never had any issues. Dogs always happy & healthy when we pick them up. The Management / staff are fantastic & treat your pets like their own. If Oakenshaw don’t have space we simply don’t book to go away as wouldn’t use anyone else!

I was apprehensive at leaving my 14yr old JRT whilst I went away for a week .... he has not been in kennels for years and he can be grumpy at the best of times. My worries were unfounded... no concerns at all and wouldn't hesitate to use Oakenshaw again. I am sure that if he could talk, he would tell us that he enjoyed his weeks 'retreat'!

First time for my 6 month old Newfoundland Oreo using a kennel. I would highly recommend to anyone. As soon as we arrived they made a fuss of Oreo she is a nervous puppy at the minute and she was so calm and settled.  She walked off with them to the kennel with no issues and was a happy bounding big puppy when we came to collect her. I will be using again. Thank you for looking after my big baby and taking such good care of her.  5*

Barney seems to have enjoyed himself at the kennels. I dropped him off and he was off without a backward glance wagging his tail..think he knew where he was going. This is his 3rd visit and he always looks happy when i pick him up

Due to the booking been a last minute booking i didnt get to see the actual kennels where Roxy stayed but after reading the recent reviews and the details and photos on the website i was happy it seemed nice. When my husband collected Roxy he said she came out excited to see him which is good. She didnt smell either so looks like shes had a bath before collection. Roxy seems in good health so im happy she has been looked after properly.

Would 100% recommend Oakenshaw kennels, my fur baby stayed for a week,and came back happy and full of life.

Just want to say a massive thank you for taking such good care of lucy i was nervous about putting Lucy in the kennels but she was well looked after I definitely will be using them again I highly recommend them thank you to all of the staff

Our Evie always seems happy to go to kennels. In fact she doesn't even look back when we drop her off. She is a large reactive dog and the team seem to take such great care of her and her needs. She's always happy and smells nice when we collect her. We travel 45 mins to get to the kennels as it's the best we could find! Thanks team :

First time our 8 year old dog has stayed in kennels.  He came home a very happy boy and appears to have had a good time. Would recommend.

Our Labrador absolutely loves it here, runs into the kennels he's so happy to stay. Promise he loves home too
