I ordered over £2,000 worth of fencing 3 years ago with arris rail posts tanalised.ALREADY i have 3 posts which have rotted off at ground level. The fencing is in dry areas of garden and sheltered fron the wind. Very dissapointing and lots of extra work to be replacing. I assume they are using uc3 grade timber which is unfit to be in the ground.anyone purchasing timber posts in the ground make sure they are of uc4 quality otherwise you will regret it.
Great delivery, nice driver. However, when I inspected the wood, around one third were unusable for my fencing project. Either they had holes in them, were damaged or cut badly. I emailed them the photos and received no reply.
Very happy. Arrived mid morning on the due date. Best prices by far for gravel boards even with delivery from Coventry to Leicester. Dave, the driver, did his best to crane the lot as far as he could onto my property which saves me a bit of work. What a bonus he turned out to be for me. Great stuff. Yes, I fully recommend Oakdale Fencing. Thank you very much.
Have bought from these chaps several times over the years and have always been very satisfied with the quality and the price. It benefits me to pay for delivery 60 miles away rather than buy locally! They also stock items that other suppliers don’t. Recently expecting delivery to take several weeks because of COVID the lorry arrived after just 4 days! Polite and helpful drivers as well. Yes I would recommend.
Ordered some Cotswolds stones for delivery the next day. Only company who could offer it. Delivery driver was also great!!
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. THEY WONT ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN. they will deliver old weathered panels and mess up your order delivering the wrong items! These panels aren't value for money. They won't arrange delivery and will just show up and dump it outside your house, I have arthritis and have had to struggle to move all the panels by myself as I didn't have any notice to arrange help.
Strongly advise everyone especially single women living alone against ordering ANYTHING from Oakdale Fencing Ltd!!! Ordered a fence panel from them on 28th June, made to pay an £18 delivery charge for a 3 mile trip from Black Horse Road to Keresley… now I could have lived with that if they actually made an effort to deliver! Instead I waited until 12th July at which point I got my dad to call them! To be told they had lost the order and weren’t even planning on coming out!! Staff promised a delivery on Tuesday or Wednesday. Ofcourse that didn’t happen, I called up this morning to chase and again was told I would get a call back in 5 mins after 15 mins I called back to check what was happening and was told that time that the delays are due to covid and my fence panel would be here today. Now, considering I paid £18 for delivery I would expect the driver to deliver the 6ft by 6ft, 20kg fence panel to my door - not to the bottom of the driveway where I’m expected to drag it off the back of their rusty van and drag across the street by myself to get it on my property!!! Absolutely disgusting service from start to finish. If I were management I would put that £18 towards customer service training for your staff.
Really impressed with my fence panels. Read some of the reviews & was a little sceptical, needn't have worried as they are amazing just what I wanted. I ordered them on Thursday & they arrived the following Tuesday . Lovely man dropped them too. I would definitely recommend this company.
