Wow. How to spend money on shiny stuff and wreck a park. So there's half an acre of playgound with no slide above shoulder height and useless monkey-bars where a 4 year old will be able to touch the ground. Health and safety or just incompetence? But the star feature is the combined basketball/football cage that they dumped in the middle of two basketball/ netball courts creating one unsafe, doubly enclosed space with limited exits where 2 kids whacking a football permanently block anyone from shooting hoops. Yey football! Cant play that on grass...

Nice in the summer for kids can feed the ducks and play on the grass or play area. Good for dog walkers too

Pleasant, well used park in a nice area of Accrington.  Children's play area, wildlife pond plus tennis courts and bowling greens.

Interesting Memorial, Duck pond with Identifying board. Children's play area. 
There is an events stage, which was not in use on the day we visited.
Nice for a quiet walk and generally very clean. The park is situated on a slope and may cause a problem for people with severe walking problems, however the park does have good clear paths for wheelchair access.
