Oak Hill Park is great to visit for a walk, especially there being a big amount of green spaces and trails throughout the park. Although do be cautious when it rains due to areas being flooded, especially by the brook! The facilities this park has on offer are a Cafe, Basketball & Tennis courts, Bowling Green, Football pitches, Toilets, Outdoor Gym and Golf Course. Usually there are a good amount of parking spaces available in the car park, although during the holidays and weekends it's bound to be a lot busier. The most unique part of the park has to be the hilly area, as there's even a bench to sit on and admire the views. Behind the nature reserve, there is a forest to walk through and it leads to a trail around the back of the park. During the summer, The East Barnet Festival is hosted here and it has to be the one event that everyone living local to the park looks forward to!
I attend Oak Hill Park annually for Car's In The Park which is on at the same time as the East Barnet Festival, during these shows the park is transformed into a excellent place to bring the family for a really great day out, or meet up with friends and show off your car, a definitely recommend day out! When these shows are not on I'm sure Oak Hill Park would be a relaxing place to visit.
Good for families with kids and dogs. The ground is smooth enough to use for picnic purposes.
Absolutely amazing park and we are enjoying to walk and run all the seasons
Nice park with oak forest included. Bigger than expected. Free on-site parking, many sports areas and playgrounds. In summer you can even enjoy open-air theatre. Then in winter it looks just as amazing Updated photos.
It is a nice park with big spaces and funny bin … as you can see it in one of my picture and with lots of the possibilities for activities.
The park has great playgrounds for different ages. There's an outdoor gym. A polish cafe that has a soft play area and the have a food hygiene of 5. The people who run the cafe are also really nice. The park also has up coming theatre events for children. I'll be visiting often.
This is my local park which also happens to have the weekly 5k park runs. It’s great for running and walks. It has a decent cafe where you can grab a bite to eat or a coffee to drink. It also has a nice playground and outside gym. Tennis courts also available as well as a golf course. The downside is when it rains a lot one part of the park gets muddy and a small flood forms restricting access not great when jogging.
Always clean. A great cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Soft play area for children inside cafe. Toilets clean. Can get flooded by the stream. Outdoor adult gym equipment available free of charge. Two childrens outdoor play equipment areas. Mini golf available to hire. Bowls club. Tennis courts but bring your own equipment. More of a community activity park with a guided walk or running route around circumference of park. Not much flowers or wildlife. Peacefull park with plenty of wide grassy space for picnic or cafe lunch.
One of the best park in the London, nice and big with conservation areas. You can walk and play with your family and friends.
