Hands down the most comically awful customer service yet. I had ordered an item for click and collect which arrived to the shop a day late I needed it for a trip the following day. Then I received an email to say that it was ready for collection. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door saying they had closed early. It's quite disappointing given that I had rearranged my entire schedule to make it to the shop prior to closing. To add insult to injury, I sent an email to their support team, using the support address provided in the order confirmation email. I then received an automated email back saying that address was no longer in use. This email provided me with a link to a live chat support feature. Lo and behold, the chat support link didn't work either. So I go and find a chat link on their website to talk to their support. They tell me I need to pass security first. OK. No probs. So they ask me for two letters from the answer to my security question. I tell them, can you please remind me of the question first? They say know, they cannot for security reasons. Really O2?!?!!?!?!?!? Really????? Why not just call it a password then!!!! Also, it took me 21 minutes to clear security with the chat agent for them to tell me there was nothing they could do. Seriously, these people are living on another planet. I hate to fathom hat their recruitment process. I think somebody should put them in charge of Brexit with this level of genius. After being a former O2 Select customer, today's experience reminded me of exactly why I left. O2 does not care about customer support. I'm not even sure they know what it is.
Service is non existent. I am a o2customer for10 years your service has been excellent but your staff in this branch changed my view. I lost my phone , went in with a staff so unwelcoming and cold. So reluctant to swap the sim for me , so unpleasant to offer further help and forgot to remove the bar on the phone lock even I requested to check whether the phone can be in use before I left. So I got to phone o2 the second day. If you don’t like your work , why stay there ?!
O2 are probably just as good as any other mobile phone company but to be honest the whole industry needs fixing as things just aren't right yet. Some of the staff in this shop are quite good but I haven't ever been any more than averagely satisfied with the service all together. You can't transfer your data here from your old phone to the new one.
The male employee from New Zealand who served me clearly knew very little about giving good customer service by not speaking the truth. His lies were SO obvious as he attempted to bluff his way through my encounter with him. The young coloured female was superb in answering questions and getting my problem resolved. So a very mixed reaction to O2 Putney High Street.
Unfortunately there is no category worse than poor to fair for this store. Bearing in mind that the people who work in these shops are the first point of contact for O2 and are representatives of the company. O2 seriously need to think about who they are employing at Putney. The staff lack any customer service skills, common sense and ability to get things done. Shockingly poor is probably too kind a review! Please avoid at all costs, it will be worth travelling the extra distance to find another O2 store, alternatively speak to O2 direct or go to a competitor.
Unqualified staff. Took my phone in trying to unlock it. One of the staff members entered 0000 as my network sim unlock code when it's meant to be 8 digits. Although they made an effort to be helpful they clearly were not trained.
Fantastic service received from Francesca! Bought the iPad Pro mini with a tablet data £5pm contract and she set it all up for me. Also helped me buy accessories for my iPhone 7 jet black which I bought through O2 and did click and collect to the store. Would definitely recommend asking for Francesca if you happen to visit the store!
If you feel like being ignored, and then spoken to like a child, or perhaps you just feel like being verbally abused by staff members. O2 Putney is the place for you. Probably the worst customer service I have experienced in my 10 years in London. Avoid this shop like it's an Ebola zone.
Worst customer service I have ever recieved. Sent me away with false information and then the staff in store refuse to answer their phone. While in store I could hear it ringing constantly and watched them ignore it and now I am trying to contact them and surprise surprise they are ignoring the call. Spoke to 02 over the phone explaining the information the store had given me and they said that I should write a complaint to the store manager. No point phoning though, they won't pick up! Terrible. TERRIBLE.
I liked this branch of O2, the staff were very helpful and explained everything clearly to me when i changed over from Pay As You Go to a Contract. Would use this branch anytime.
