Peaceful pleasant environment, space to cycle or stroll around, your choice. Various stopping points for children on your way around, climbing rocks, balance beams etc. Extensive grassy areas for children or adults to run around on, play football or just sit and relax. Other amenities include tennis courts, outdoor gym and picnic areas. A river runs alongside the park and children do paddle in it on hot days. Great, enclosed, childrens play area. A lovely family afternoon.
Wonderful park cannot wait to return , added picture would love to know what it is though .
Brilliant park, loads of space for kids to run around, big playground, toilets and a little cafe. The cafe only sells crisps and chocolate bars and drinks. Always ice cream van on site. My granddaughter loves it
Its a shame that any of the facilities weren't open. Lots of families taking advantage of the fresh winter air with no toilets or drinks available.nThe car park was busy with only a few antisocial drivers abandoning cars in non-parking areas.nNice to have the outdoor exercise machines would be good fun in non-covid times.
This is a nice park for a walk, always plenty of people here from young children to dog walkers to disabled people. It has Woods a river and places to walk off track as well
