Just had a lovely curry with friends who were visiting and have to say it was really nice. This is my local Indian restaurant and I’ve been here quite a lot over the years. I’ve never been hugely excited by this place and have had my review at 3 stars - but I just came back and edited increasing to a four because I really think last night was a step up. Really really nice meal.
I’ve only ever been during the week and it’s been quiet but that does mean you get attentive service. The staff are always friendly and the food is excellent so the only reason for not giving it five stars I guess is because it feels a bit dated.
Just a great gem best Indian food moved in September and have ordered so many times Always fresh on time staff are fab .
Very disappointed! Highlight was the Onion Bhaji. Waterary, tastless curry. Small Korma portions. Overpriced for for quality and quantity of food. I've tasted so much better curry than here!

Well I’ve not been there for about 10 years and was always good.... I was going to pass the door.... and for a treat I said to the wife. Does she fancy a curry. I ordered 2 chicken vindaloo mushroom rice, onion rice. Came to £22.95.... they wanted cash we pay the vat.... but they don’t want to, with no savings to us..... there was 4 bits of chicken and 3 potatoes..... vindaloo there was no heat at all. And very watery...... would I go back? Never...... it was the worst vindaloo I’ve ever had. And a waste of money....
The team here are always so welcoming. A great local Indian. Food is a little westernised but suits the village. Great selection of large beers.
Been coming here for a couple of years now. Really nice owner and good food compared to any other curry house nearby. Fairly pricey but worth it. They would make tons if they had their own delivery service.
Ordered a takeaway Tarka Dall and meat samosa to supplement a family homemade meal. When we went to collect they had forgotten the order so we had to wait for it to be prepared. When we got home and the rest of the food was ready we found that we only had Tarka Dall and no samosas. Disappointed we ate our meal. Later the same evening we called to explain what happened and were told it was too late to get a refund. I ended up having to go back to the restaurant with the empty cartons and receipts. I was accused of swearing on the phone which was a complete lie! Then threatened with forceable removal from the building. They then said you want a refund here it is and threw a £10 note at me. I had been a long term customer. Never again and will tell everyone I know.
