A nice old station, which I visit from time to time, it has 7 platforms and accessible lifts to each platform. The toilets are kinda small so if the station is busy expect to have to line up and the hand dryer is like trying to dry your hand with a match, but that is really the only negative I have with the station. Its usually a clean station I've not really seen much litter when I've been there. The station can also be good for train spotters since fast trains do often pass through the station at speed.
I was collecting my friend and pleased to find the Drop off/Pick up parking was obvious and simple, which at other stations it often isn't because before you know it you've triggered an ANPR or stress that you might have.nA friendly staff member directed me to the facilities on platform 2 while my friend loaded her golf clubs into my car
I recently had a disappointing experience with staff at Nuneaton Station. Due to ongoing rail replacement services to and from Birmingham, my usual 48-minute journey turned into a 2-hour trip. While I understand this situation is outside the staff’s control, I would have expected a bit more understanding from them.nnI approached a female staff member approx. 5’6, brunette at Platform 1 to ask if the bathroom could be opened, as it was closed and I had another hour on the coach ahead. She responded dismissively and simply said “no,” without offering an alternative or explanation. I then asked about how long the rail replacement would be in effect, and her response was rude and unhelpful. Thankfully, another staff member was kind enough to answer my question.nnI’m kindly requesting that Nuneaton Station and its staff consider how disruptive these changes are for travelers. In particular, it would be very helpful if the bathroom at Platform 1 could remain open during these extended travel periods, as many passengers, myself included, are facing significantly longer journeys.nnThank you for your attention.
Very nice station nTrains call regularly. Good for train spotters, nice beaches and has functional toilets. Would come again
