The college is luxurious, has many different facilities and includes a Starbucks. The members of staff are polite, helpful and very supportive. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
I had a truly awful tutor in 2016 for level 3 photography. He never once helped me, listend to me or supported me. He picked his favourite students and concentrated on them. I and many others were completely pushed aside. He destroyed my confidence and made me feel stupid and worthless. Now I'm at another college that sadly has less funding but the staff care so much more and have genuine knowledge and skills that they actually want to pass on. Ive being studying sociology for only 3 weeks and I'm getting distinctions for the first time in my life, something I never achieved at NULC due to lack of support and a tutor who actually cared.
My daughter is currently studying art. She was never one for school and really struggled. This college has completely changed her! She adores studying now, the teachers treat her as an adult. It’s a pity they can’t be there for a full week, but hey that’s not there fault! The college is well equipped- even though the gov has cut the budget for art supplies again , so they do ask if the students can provide drawing books and a few pencils etc but all the fun stuff is provided.
I work at Nscg and from a visitor point of view the reception abd information point staff are very helpful.
Well run, modern college. Lectures really valuable
