Built in 2016 this is a modern college situated close to Newcastle town centre. Providing a wide range of academic, vocational and apprenticeship qualifications from entry to degree level.
Most A-level sciences are taught very well and most of the staff and students are nice but i would recommend avoiding geography because one of the teachers literally cannot teach. I've also heard horror stories about computer science and HE+ which is very unlikely to get you into oxbridge, so they are also worth avoiding.nThe personal tutors are almost all annoyingly condescending and their tutorials are the most pointless thing because all we ever do is read through the newsletter
The college is luxurious, has many different facilities and includes a Starbucks. The members of staff are polite, helpful and very supportive. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
I would not have achieved what I have without the staff here. When I left school, I had no gcse's. I came here 2 years after I left school, due to family issues impacting my studies at previous colleges, and the staff here were so supportive. I achieved my gcse in english, which I never thought i would get, as well as DDM in Health and Social Care at level 3. I also was awarded student of the year, student of the month, and received a vocational specialist achievement award - all in the same year. I'm at uni now doing a masters in education, having secured an upper second class in my undergrad last year. I cannot thank these teaching staff enough for supporting me the way they did, both academically and personally.
do not recommend this college at all, withdrew me from a course and seemed more focused on moving me along rather than helping with my needs. very discriminatory
