I can only second the reviews about reception. Very rude and talk over you. I ordered a prescription via email the correct way and items were missing so I rung to find out why to be told it would be done as an emergency one and available to pick up after 5 that day the words of the lady receptionist on the Friday afternoon. I went to pick up to be told they hadn't done it so went all weekend in pain then Monday I rang again to be told they wouldn't of said that basically calling me a liar then said why was I even ringing them as they don't deal with it. I asked could I explain as it was the receptionist on the Friday who told me she could do it and it would be ready after 5. All the while she was talking over me totally not interested in anything I was trying to explain. Perhaps don't give out false info as I went up to the chemist after they told me Friday it would be there! Then again on the Monday! That was after the prescription was already mucked up the first time. Listen a bit more to patients and don't be so rude i'm hardly going to make it up and call twice at the chemists.
I don't even know where to start. Absolute joke of a place. Doctors who you have never even met make decisions about your health and your medication and don't even bother letting you know. If you want an appointment you are looking at sometime in 2088! Doctors not checking facts before writing referral letters. I won't even mention the receptionists ‍
Been trying to see a doctor since Christmas, you book a slot online for a phonecall at a specific time and they ring you 3 hours later. Im in the process of changing to a different surgery as fed up of trying to see someone.
if there were a zero option, I would have selected it. abusive, self-righteous and entirely uncaring receptionists. a lottery system to get an appointment i.e. you will lose 99 times out of 100 2 decent, caring doctors out of maybe 9. the rest are wholly incompetent and somehow care even less than the receptionist. please don't go here if you have a serious mental health diagnosis, like myself. they will consistently mess up sorting your medication, and the "mental health support nurse" will leave you hanging for weeks rather than help. last week she Zoë told me "you are clearly in crisis, so I won't be speaking to you today. I will call you back at some point" ! some of the very worst the NHS provides and insults us by calling "medical services".
Just spoke to a receptionist who's attitude and was disgusting. We all have to work if you don't like your job get another! Stop treating people with your arrogant attitude over the phone, they obviously need phone coaching skills. Doctors are are great, receptionist are terrible
People expectations are way to high. GPs are under alot if pressure and its down to reduced numbers. Lay the blame at 11 years of bad Government. I've always found the receptionists to be very helpful and have to deal with the brunt of a few arrogant members of the public. When I've needed something they have all gone above and beyond. Exceptions will arise but that's the same I every field.
I have has no problems at all the doctors has rang me bk when ask him her to and they are so lovely and kind xxx
If I could give less than 1 star I would. Don’t get call backs when required, they have maybe 3 decent Doctors on staff so getting an appointment with a competent Doctor is a long wait.
The doctors are good but the receptionists are not doing there job properly had perscription sitting there for high blood presure supposed to call but didn't and went for apointment and cancelled said tried to phone i didn't get a call my phone is always with me
Horrendous. Incompetent Receptionists. Only one or two decent Doctors that actually care. Not much chance of receiving an update regarding blood tests etc. I'd of given zero stars if I could.
