Norwich railway station is a convenient and pleasant hub for travelers. The station hosts several amenities including a Co-op, a WHSmith, and a Costa Coffee. However, these shops typically do not operate during the very early morning or late evening hours, which may be inconvenient for passengers traveling at those times.nnPreviously, there was also an M&S Food store at the station, but it has closed and shows no signs of reopening.nnThe station's design reflects the architectural style of the mid-19th century with its ornate facade.nnOver the years, the station has undergone some renovations to modernise its facilities while preserving its historical charm. Due to the number of empty retail units, it just feels a little tired.
A pretty little station with connections to london and further around Norfolk. Has shops that stay open fairly late and open early, so it can be a good place to get a little shopping and it has free toilets! Which is always a blessing. Ample waiting areas too.
Medium sized station that is easy to navigate, with platform information screens at multiple points.nnFriendly staff willing to help out.nnFood shops in the station such as Subway, Co-op, Costa, WHSmith.nnHowever there are only toilets on the street side of the barriers, which is annoying at times.
Probably the best station and trains service I have used across England. The station itself is beautiful with historic architecture with a Morden touch, penty of places to get drinks and snacks with an onsite costa coffee, Starbucks, coop, WHSmith, flower stall and a second coffee shop. Staff are everywhere and happy to help with information and carts to drive disable people from far end of the platforms. The station is very clean and platforms are smooth to walk down. Plenty of ticket machines with someone standing near to assist if needed and a ticket office thats always has someone to serve you. toliets available inside and carpark at front and side of the station. the great Angela is my favourite service to us with freindly staff that are happy to help and relaxing train journeys you can't go wrong, the trains are Morden with information signs, toliets, luggage storage, coat hooks, tables, onboard cafe and spacious seating. Plus the only train service that has a bridge that covers the gap between the platform and train.
22.07.2022 Very busy at 5.30pm! WH Smith empty but handy for magazines and drinks. Co-op opposite which has more selection, not many snacks but meal deals etc.nNeed a ticket to get on to the platform. Very helpful staff in the Greater Anglia office.nToilets are a bit gross, main door needs to made wider for people with luggage.nHave paid £12 for all-day parking but this was 5 years ago.nStarbucks, Upper Crust, Co-op, WH Smith, flower stall. Free bottle refills fountain near platform 2.
