A great trout lake with a friendly owner, who is always willing to help with advice. Small tackle shop onsite. The fishing is mostly good, with only a few blanks during the year.

Been fishing here a few times a year for yonks. Friendly, well run and can be a beautiful place to fish given its so close to London.
A friendly laid back quiet small water just south of the M25. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. The trout is delicious and perfect plate size at about 2LB minimum with some bigger fish lurking. Usually well stocked in the correct season with carp fishing in the summer. If you want to feel welcome, not worry that you aren't wearing "just the right gear" and catch some beautiful fish with out travelling miles then try Norton Fishery, you won't regret it.
Great fishery and run by friendly people. Large lake with multiple casting platforms! Was raining all day but still enjoyed my time there, Caught 5 fish in total kept 3 and released 2, catch and release too which is hard to find! I don’t drive but was able to get there using a cab from Epping£8.60.
Great little fishery. Trout are quite savage towards the fly. Strong strikes always tell me that fish haven't been overfished. Fish fought 2-4 pounds out of their weight class on top of that. A must if your a London resident. Central line and a quick taxi ride and you'll be there.
Fantastic trout fishery. Beautiful lake in a lovely location. Bert the owner, is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. I will be a frequent visitor from now on.
Nice little spot and had a good day- no fish, but 5 minutes after handing over £250 for 5 of us we were told you won't catch anything you're a month too early,we didn't expect much. Maybe they should of told us this when we enquired, 3 disappointed children with no fish. Will try again in a month.
Second visit second huge haul!!! Burt is friendly and welcoming and has stocked the lake very well!!! 29 fish in 6 hours not bad at all!! Thanks Burt
Very welcoming, good venue offering dry fly, nymph fishing in various depths of water.
