Really good location for Evesham with a pretty view over the River Avon. Friendly staff. Welcoming reception area and comfortable lounge. Our room was lovely and warm despite the "feels like" temperature of -10°C outside. However a few glitches have resulted in me giving only a 3 star review. Cleaning left a little bit to be desired. Blinds in the bathroom were dusty and there were some cobwebs in the bedroom. The hinge area of the shower screen needed a good clean, along with the bin lid at breakfast in the restaurant area. There were no croissants or porridge on the breakfast buffet despite being advertised. We asked for croissants but none were available. After the room.was cleaned we found that the saucers and teaspoons had not been washed. Overall, would I stay here again? Yes. Great location. Reasonable quality breakfast with good portions. Well priced.

Brilliant place, very competitive rates and with first rate staff for whom nothing is too much to make your stay a pleasant one. Breakfast is very good, locally sourced traditional fayre and cooked to order. I've stayed here a lot over the last couple of years and enjoy coming back. Highly recommended.

Historic coaching inn. Some double rooms have bijou bathrooms. Nice bar in courtyard which does a lovely big bowl of chips

I booked lunch for 21 people today a few weeks ago, so was able to give them details of meals required etc. Today, we were met with courteous and pleasant service from two members of staff who proceeded to serve us with helpings of delicious food which was piping hot and plentiful. A hearty thanks to the chef and staff concerned. Our first, but not our last visit to this hotel. Thank you . Catherine P. Cox

A lovely hotel in a nice situation by the river and close to the town centre of Evesham. The room was bright and spacious and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the fact that they claim to be dog-friendly but cannot accommodate dogs at mealtimes. Dogs can stay in the hotel but aren't allowed in the restaurant and there are no alternative dining options in the hotel itself. For an evening meal we had to go to a very noisy bar, with a restricted menu, across the courtyard and breakfast was out of the question as the restaurant is the only service open at that time of the morning.
