Absolutely Disgusting – Avoid at All CostsnThis was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I booked a premium room but was given a dirty, smelly room. Towels were left all over the corridor at 8 p.m., which is completely unhygienic.nThe receptionist, Sony, was extremely rude and raised her voice for no reason. When I asked simple questions about my room and the elevator, she snapped at me and told me I should have “read about the hotel before booking.” The owner, who was sitting at reception, was just as rude and unhelpful.nThe whole place felt unsafe and creepy, with no proper lighting, even in the outdoor car park. Don’t risk bringing your kids here.nI also spoke to another couple whose heater wasn’t working in 6°C weather. They were refused a room change even though the hotel looked almost empty.nDirty rooms, rude staff, unsafe environment, and terrible management. I recorded my interactions and was shocked by their behavior. Save your money and avoid this place.
Well decorated and clean room with a river view. Breakfast was excellent and only £13 with hot breakfast, cereal and yoghurt and drinks. Great value for money
Had a room at the front so had a view of the park and river. Only thing was the window is single glazed so you did get road noise. They provided an electric fire so if radiator was not on you still had heating. Didn't try the breakfast.nnNote: my room looked identical to the one Ian Hatten has posted pics of - in fact could be same room.
Hotel seemed nice until bed time.nnRight above the boiler room which was very loud, kept making the radiator make funny loud annoying noises all night so got little to no sleep .nBed was uncomfortable and very creaky.nnOn a positive they offered breakfast , rooms were clean and car parking plentiful.
Went here on Tuesday, a group of 7 for a coffee. Not all of us had arrived. We often frequent different local places for our weekly coffee mornings.nWell, what a rude welcome! A miserable lady wanted to know what we were there for. When we said we had come for a coffee
