Based in the pretty coastal village of Alnmouth, many of our visitors return to us year after year, some to favourite cottages, others to explore a new area. Excellent cottages in fabulous Northumberland.
Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the properties and the area.
Real personalised service from a small local company - on hand for information or help.

Unfortunately I have to write a negative review about this company. We stayed in the same cottage this year as last year, there was building work in the adjoining cottage this year. That in itself was not a problem, and could not be avoided, but the company (and owner) didn't see fit to let us know this was happening and give us the opportunity to cancel the holiday. The cottage itself was not as clean as in the past, which I left feedback about. My problem with the company is not the building work or cleanliness issues, but the lack of courtesy around a) informing us about building work before we arrived and b) the lack of acknowledgement about the issues when I completed requested feedback after the holiday even though I specifically requested it, and ignoring of four mails asking for contact since our return from holiday. We will not be booking with the company again, even though the cottage is in an idyllic situation. In hindsight what we should have done, is complained at the time and asked for a refund of part of the cost, we had booked the cottage for two weeks and it was night a cheap cottage.

Stayed in a cottage in Alnmouth booked through this group.   Very happy with the whole process from booking through to support while we were there. We had the smallest of problems - needed a new light bulb - but it was fixed almost at once. Staff in the office are all very friendly, so can happily recommend them. We will certainly book again.

Don't waste your time with Northumbria Coast  & Country Cottages. I selected 'available' dates from their calender for Lodge Cottage in Alnmouth only to be informed by email a week later that the accommodation wasn't available & my booking online was only 'provisional'. Why did they take all my details including bank details. Waste of time why advertise dates that are not actually available!?! I will never use thsee agents again.
