Wouldn't recommend. They are unable to process matters when they say they would process them, or communicate to provide any updates without chasing them up each week. Whilst the conveyancing service that was done went through in the end as expected, it happened weeks behind schedule that was set by the solicitors set themselves. Critical documents were posted via non-recorded mail services. These subsequently were lost in the post. As they failed to notify us that they'd even sent anything to us by phone or email, we never knew when to expect any documents. This added an unnecessary 2-3 week delay. I asked why they couldn’t send the documents by recorded mail, and they advised ‘that costs would start mounting up’. How about ask the customer if they don’t mind paying? Worth the extra £3 for peace of mind. They could have easily emailed these documents instead which could then be printed, signed and handed in straight away. They're clearly living in a bygone era with this approach and is a red flag they they need to modernise their practice from the 1980s to 2022... We were advised that our completion date would be set. A week passed, nothing. We then called and was told on the phone in the most cliched way possible 'I can see the documents on his desk at the top of the pile'. We're not daft :/ The final disappointment arrived when despite the mortgage lender having sent them the funds, you are told that you wont receive anything personally because their internal accounts processing means that bank transfers usually instant actually take 3-5 working days. Pro Tip: If you do choose to use ISON Harrison Pudsey, add 6 weeks onto any time estimate they give you, and add another week for them to 'process' your money before they release it to you, less their fees of course.
We used Ison Harrison in Pudsey for our house purchase from April 2020. All I can say is that the service we received was fantastic. Our solicitor was Daniel Holah and he was absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble! Every question and query we had was answered straight away over email or by telephone call. I had complete confidence in Daniel throughout the whole process because as first time buyers, we weren’t completely savvy to all the processes of moving into a house. If you are moving house or buying a house for the first time, I would confidently recommend Ison Harrison to help with the conveyancing. Thank you very much
I would highly recommend ison Harrison in Pudsey. Daniel and Frances were amazing, our house purchase wasn't the most straight forward but they were always there at the end of the phone and were very efficient throughout the whole process.
Received some very good advice from Nigel, would highly recommend.
