If I can give no stars I would
They simply do not care
Had arranged appointment. Arrived earlier. Younger lady on the front desk tried to call to officer, but because line was busy, she simply told wait until my right time will come. When time was right, come older lady, called my name. I went to the front desk. She asked at the very beginning with angry voice why I am here? I told her. She hold on her hand 2 sheet papers, starting to show on those papers she almost shout on me and told that why I came again on another office with the same question about what was made decision few days ago. I tried to explain that we probably deeply misunderstood each other with earlier officer and that I am not agree with her decision. I would like that another officer will overlook it. Lady didn`t listened me at all. With a load voice she continued to attacking me how pointless and arrogant is my try to get somebody to overlook situation. Between her epistle, she had time to tell me that officer with who I had arranged appointment is away today by the way. He is ill. I asked may I have copy at papers what she had on her hand and where was written another officer decision about my question/situation. Answer was no. I asked, may I read it. Answer was no, you see, as she explained me - it is very confidential information. All our conversation was made there on the council front desk, at her side with risen voice, in front of my child, her colleagues and other customers who happened be there. Her only advice was to return back to officer, with who we deeply misunderstood each other at my point of view, and try talk with her again.
I would not give this place a star. But you have to. To give a review. The people in this office think they are your rulers. They are public servants. Wee pay there wages. Pay for there building they hardly work in. They are very ignorant, aregant, they don't want to listen to you. The place is for jobless and people who pay nothing. If it wasn't the case. They would be open at times when people that do work can go.... I took time of my work a couple of months ago to try and get there mucked up poll tax mistake sorted out. No joy what so ever. Just go no one is here to help. They are off sick. It sounds firmilure. Same old story. It's a sad excuse that they are giving to people. Go's up to the pay desk. Person behind the counter saw me standing there. Totally ignores me. Give me a dirty look and walks away. Stands for about two more minutes, Go's back to the other counter to be told they are away on there brake. I had to leave the office before I said anything. As I could feel myself getting very angry. They have still not fixed the problem. I would say they are a joke, but a joke is funny. They are very far from that. I went to waterloo place a couple of weeks ago. Got the same attitude if not worse. I think they have forgotten who they are. Good pension, and over paid. by us And help no one. This has to change.
Was In and Out In No Time At All
Council of Edinburgh is a Joke!!! Does not matter where you go... Call center is even worst!! They explaining them self that they have not enough staff... Some how council tax not getting cheaper... Every bill coming with different amount to pay, higher of course. Stop using Direct debit this year as one day, they decide to take from my account over £600 without any warning letter or bill. More funny is that lady from council told me that they are not allowed to do that!! Some how they did!!!
Have been waiting for a key from a front door more than six months!!! I was visiting them once, sometimes twice a week, received only excuses, despite all it is finely took more than six months to get a key !!!
i wouldnt give even 1 star. This is absolutely a disgraceful office full of people who dont care to help others, never pick up their phones!!!! and just hang out
Very helpful advisor, not sure if negative ratings should be taken seriously. Nice large office with relaxed atmosphere.
