Having wanted a Wood Burner for years and hearing some of the stories from others we were looking for a professional team who would listen to what we wanted and not what they wanted us to have. From initially meeting Paula and then Tony in the fabulous showroom we knew we had made the right choice. Mason and Paul the fitters were very polite and friendly also patient as we had them making adjustments as we went along. What a great team to have been working with. Tony is very knowledgable and again was patient as we headed for our dream fireplace and wood burner. Superb service and we are over the moon with our Peanut 5 Burner. Cheers Tony and team.
Highly recommended! Showroom has a wide choice of fireplaces and fires. Staff were very helpful . The fitters were really good, tidy , pleasant and polite . They did a great job . There was an issue with the fire that was slightly damaged when it was unpacked . A replacement was ordered and the other fire left in situ so we had an extra source of heat . We are absolutely delighted with the superb job done and the excellent service we received. Thank you so much

Absolutely wonderful company, just don’t go anywhere else! From the moment I walked in to the showroom Tony, Steph, Paula, Paul, Steve, Mark, Marcus, Dylan and all the team have been amazing. Sound, sensible guidance and advice, with no pressure, fabulous team who make a mucky job fun, leaving the house so tidy I couldn’t find any cleaning to do! The finished fires are lovely, nothing was too much trouble and the advice was spot on! Just brilliant it’s a shame I don’t need a fire in every room! .

North West Fireplaces have just fitted our beautiful bespoke media wall. Absolutely first class service from start to finish. So many people to thank starting with Steph in the shop, the fitting team from NWF Paul, Dylan and Mason. Mark the electrician and Steve and Tien from CPA. Finally, Tony, the person who brought it all together from several meetings regarding design to giving us his expert advice when we needed it! If you are looking for a media wall do not hesitate to use this company. You are buying a piece of beautiful furniture that will last for many years and not your usual MDF and plasterboard version that other companies may install!
Our experience of working with the team at Northwest Fireplace Centre has been first class. Tony was very knowledgeable with helping us select and design the right log burner for our setup - it's not like you buy a log burner everyday. When it came to the fitting, our chimney breast had been butchered by the previous owners but none the less, Paul, Mason and Tony took on the task of putting it right. The team were brilliant and a credit to the company. I have no hesitation in recommending the company and their services to anyone considering a quality fire for their home.
I had a non standard install for a wood burning stove. David was very helpful throughout the whole process as I prepped the area my new stove was to be installed in. He offered lots of help and advice along the way. On the day of install everything went smoothly. Unfortunately my chimney was much dirtier than expected it had been bricked up way before we bought the property. This resulted in one very dirty installer sorry. Thankfully the installers covered everywhere in dust sheets before they started and also brought along a powerful extractor fan which was routed outside. Everything was cleaned up and left nice and tidy. I’m now a very happy owner of a very hot stove
It had been our dream to install a modern gas fire in our home of 16 years. We decided last September that we were ready and started reviewing gas fires and the dealers. We have been to many before stumbling on DRU Gas Fire and consequently North West Fireplace Centre. We entered the showroom and was impressed by the varieties on display. As we were looking round, Tony engaged us and was frank with us about our requirements and the likely costs. We had to review our budget, of course upwards, as this was consistent with the estimates from other companies. We decided to settle for this company due to the showroom, Tony’s knowledge and honesty, quality of DRU Gas Fires, and most importantly the promise to give us a ‘Bestspoke gas fire place’ that will best suit our living room. Tony came to our house for survey and to discuss peculiar requirements including furniture placement and our other planned renovations. We reviewed the bestspoke design with Tony and agreed the costs. Our ideas on placement of our TV set-top boxes and soundbar were incorporated into the design as well as the beam in the middle of the living room. Tony and his installation team were very professional. They demolished the false chimney breast that we had and built the new gas fire place as per agreed schedule. Tony’s son, Paul, was excellent, very skilled and flexible. He installed the TV, set-top boxes, and soundbar as per our requirements. We are very happy with our gas fire place and have since been been enjoying it. We surely recommend this company. You would not be disappointed. The showroom staff are also very friendly. Steph is ever fantastic to deal with. Another plus was that we only paid £200 before the design and only required to pay the balance after completion and commissioning of the gas fire.
We are delighted with our gas fire and fireplace from the North West Fireplace Centre. Tony and all his staff were extremely helpful throughout the process and ensured we were kept up to date with the progress of the order and fitting despite the challenges of the Covid pandemic. The initial showroom visit followed by the home design assessment and the installation of the fire were all carried out in a friendly and professional manner.
