Brilliant venue for playing bowls.pretty damn good place for a meal too! Went with friends who live locally, I was a bit circumspect at going but they do take us to some lovely places when we go up to see them, we trust them and again they came up trump's! Easy carparking, almost on the seafront, disabled access and toilets for those that need it and once inside you see the most beautiful mix of colours of the indoor bowling green! I was fascinated! Note to self: book a game when we go with someone who can teach me how to play! Any way, we ordered our dinner and drinks whilst watching a few people play bowls, it was really relaxing, the staff were pleasant and just enough attentive and the dinner was beautiful. Not overly priced, but, enough for my big belly and the cider was superb! Top hint... If you like a glass of cider dinnertime, get your mate to drive! In summary: Clean, affordable, nice food great service and you can play bowls too whilst your car is parked for free in the carpark, then go and look at the sea! Note for the disabled, you will be looked after!
My Knit and natter group had Xmas lunch here yesterday , the food and service were both excellent, the starters and delicious home made Yorkshire puddings and the most crispy roast potatoes I had beef others had turkey, cod or mushroom and nut Wellington . Followed by fab deserts .We could not fault anything we received crackers on the table mince pies teas or coffee to finish . We had a great time and will be doing this again in the summer and next Xmas well done all the staff front and back of the house . Merry Christmas to you all.‍

Went for a meeting with Newcis its for carers and ex carers. Enjoyable to watch people playing indoor bowls. Great cup of coffee and cake. Can't wait for visiting again.

Went here with a party of 48 bowlers from Staffordshire/Cheshire yesterday. Could not have been more impressed. Facilities are great, staff are absolutely brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. We had two meals here and the food was absolutely first class. Limited menu for parties but everything well cooked and hot. If you are thinking of taking a party bowling look no further you will not be disappointed.
Attended my grandfather's funeral wake here recently. They forgot the gluten-free food for his grieving wife so she had to supply her own food after paying for a buffet that everyone could eat but her. Small buffet and limited Coffee and Tea that did not get refilled. But nice furnishings and reasonably friendly staff.
