Lovely place. The arcade and the shops around make the place very happy and lively. There were many seagulls around and dogs by the beach! also some horses on the main road.. I'd recommend for a day trip, not longer.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
We love North pier. Great view of the coast and of course the Tower. Not been on here since 2019 and this time we found the pub at the end. Absolutely loved it, really comfy place to rest you achy feet from all the walking in BlackpoolVisited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
Really liked this pier as it’s much quieter than the central and south piers. Lovely stroll down to the bar at the end to just sit and chill and listen to music. Dogs were allowed in too. Victorian seating the whole way down the pier and a little train too.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
Amazing day with beautiful views over the Irish Sea and great food at home of the wrap while we watched the gorgeous sunset. The pier is wooden and is longer than it looks whilst walking down, well 8 am a bit unfit but I still enjoyed it very much.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Went to Bloom Bar to see the illuminations and it's beautiful. I'd never been in North pier, it was late in the evening but the carousel is gorgeous and there's a little motortrain that drives to the end of the pier and back. It's amazing how the 3 piers are so different but I really like the Northern one, it feels a bit more genteel The view of the illuminations and tower was super too
Pleasantly surprised how calm and peaceful this pier was compared to the other two. Something for all ages from classic carousel, arcade, seating and show bars. We visited around lunchtime during the summer holidays and it was quiet and only some of the attractions operating. The carousel and train were reasonably priced. If you are weary of wooden structures probably avoid as you can feel movement in the wooden planks otherwise if your after a peaceful spot with good views it's the place to go. The pier also hosts many well known acts imagine it could feel lively later in the day.
Good old traditional wooden pier, enjoyed my many over the decades. There's a few stalls selling candy and ice cream, aswell as a few rides. Best of, it's a lovely place to sit down and relax, listening to the waves crashing below you. On a clear day, there's a view of the isle of man to your right and the welsh coast on your left.
First time here, at least I can tick it off my bucket list. Did not get on to the Tower due to high wind, it was closed twice, unable to refund tickets, so given other free entry to other attractions. Tickets are valid for one year. Just be aware of this, no signage to state anywhere by ticket desk, no cash refunds. Lovely to visit but not stay, lot's of attractions and Cinderella type horse and carriages that are lit up.
Had a lovely walk along The north Pier, spectacular views and nice and peaceful for a stroll sat and sunbathed for an hour brilliant to get away from the noise for a bit slush puppys are brilliant, flavour all the way down, nice bar at the end also.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
A lovely historic place to visit. The entrance/exit to the pier could do with a lick of paint but it's a lovely place to sit & enjoy a brew overlooking the sea.
