Story

The North London Yoga Centre in Barnet offers Hatha Yoga, Sivananda Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Vinyasa Flow for all ages and abilities. We also have meditation classes and Tibetan Singing Bowls (Sound Healing) weekly. We have classes for everybody from beginners to advanced, kids yoga, pensioners and gentle class, pregnancy yoga, group meditation, yoga therapy and one to one sessions are also available. We are 2 mins from Cockfosters tube station on the Piccadilly Line.

I started doing yoga with Marga during Covid, and ever since, I’ve absolutely fallen in love with it. Marga has a unique ability to guide each movement so we truly understand and connect with our bodies. Her soothing voice and calming presence create a peaceful atmosphere that makes every class feel like a retreat. What I love most about Marga is her attentiveness; she always listens to any questions I have and focuses on the areas I want to work on. She’s amazing at challenging us to reach our limits while making us feel safe and supported every step of the way. Practicing with Marga has transformed my yoga experience, and I can’t recommend her enough!
I've been attending Margarita’s classes since 2018, and they are simply magnificent – magnificent, magnificent, and magnificent! Margarita creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making everyone feel comfortable from the moment they walk in. She has an incredible ability to lead a class while paying close attention to each person’s unique abilities. Margarita skillfully adapts her techniques to accommodate everyone, without ever losing the quality of the session. Each class leaves me feeling completely rejuvenated and refreshed. I highly recommend her classes to anyone looking for an inclusive, personalized, and revitalizing yoga experience!
I've been attending Margarita's classes on Sundays at 9.30 for over 7 years and they have helped me enormously both physically and mentally. She gives very clear instructions and makes sure everyone is challenged to do that little bit more in every lesson. Lessons follow the sivananda yoga style although there's new variations and exercices in every lesson. I couldn't recommend it enough.
Toni's Tuesday evening class is so restorative - every class is different with wonderful lights, sounds and incense. Toni offers adjustments to suit all levels. A great class all round.
Toni is a fantastic teacher. Her classes are excellent, varied and adaptable for all levels. My favourite hour of the week!
My husband and I have been taking classes at the North London Yoga Centre with various teachers, but most recently with Carol. The class is very friendly and at good catering for everyone in the class with our various abilities. We have both noticed that our flexibility has improved and we leave with a relaxed body and mind.
I'm very happy to attend North London Yoga Centre . İt is very satisfactory and very good experience. Our instructor is Carol , she is the best teacher. During class, your bady is relaxed , your mind is cleared, after class you are thinking this an achievement.
Pembe and Carol's classes are great. Pembe's is gentle yoga suited to ladies of a certain age or others wanting an easier class. Love her variety. Every class is fun and very seldom the same. Carole's classes are also gentle as is her manner. The class has plenty of variety and suited to every level.
Have been using North London yoga centre for past 5 years. I attend gentle hatha yoga classes with Carol who is a brillant yoga teacher. Her classes have a good flow and relaxation technique. Would recommend to anyone who wants gentle yoga but come away feeling good !
Classes are so good. Pembe always finds ways to work with students who have any particular issues like bad shoulders, backs etc. always feel amazing after a class. I’ve become much fitter and more flexible since doing the classes.
