It is not a good place. Heck, my first year went sour because a teacher judged me by my name. I'm supposed to be a "naughty" boy. Life didn't improve. They deal with the victims of bullying with temporary suspension. The bully gets nothing bad. Though some teachers are okay, most things are trash. I'd never send children here. From my experience it had an atmosphere of a prison. Join a group, or be cast aside.

Some well-meaning staff and many nice kids. Unfortunately, they are badly let down by a very significant number of poorly behaved, disaffected children. SATs results have apparently improved since joining an academy, but they should always be taken with a very large pinch of salt as so many schools manipulate, and even abuse, the testing system. There are much better schools close by.
