Really nice open park to move around in walk/run/hop/skip/jump/scooter/wheelchair/mobility scooter etc - what ever form of mobility. Borders of the park have trees and bushes. There is a children's playground at one end, accessed via a closing gate. Central aspect of the park is usually used quite a bit for football practice either by clubs or members of the public. The park is very popular with dog walkers. Walking here is easy - although entrance driveway pavement access could be made wider for buggies/wheelchairs. Access to the park via vehicle has speed cushions and dual barrier access although only 1 is ever in use at both entrances to the park.nnWalking routes are definitely on the easy level about 90% flat terrains but it's nice to do a lap or two, and when chatting you can easily do more!
Great Park especially for bike rides and scooters as lot of flat areas and tarmacked pathway around it.nIf you have kids you can just sit on a bench as they ride their bikes/scooters around the park while you read a book. There is a toilet in the park as well.
Beautiful park in the Bromley area and especially for park run . The running track is mostly flat and tarmac. When I went there were 800 plus runners . There’s a big free car park if you can go early . A great outdoor space even if you are going for just walks and some fresh air
It's lovely park but also have woodland go through along as it's large woodland & fun to wonder around & different routes you like. I did 2 hours walking in the woodland from the park to the woodland to George Road out & Hayes Common Woodland too as well. It's so beautiful woodland. I would go again in different routes.
Home of Blackheath and Bromley AC. New club house with indoor track. As you can imagine good facilities. No seating area or covered area for spectators. Take and wear precautions if you'll find yourself out in the elements
