We went as a family of four, two children under six and two adults. We thoroughly enjoyed the setting. Beautifully decorated and furnished, warm and cosy. The staff were always pleasant and friendly. The food was enjoyable and portions huge. We particularly enjoyed the pudding. We wish all the staff a Merry Christmas and a big thank you for being a part of ours.
​We had a wonderful two-night stay at this cosy and friendly pub. Our room was warm, inviting, and exceptionally clean and tidy. The manager and staff were incredibly welcoming, creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout the pub. The food was amazing, and the shepherds pie was a particular highlight. We would definitely stay here again and give this lovely establishment our highest recommendation

What a lovely place to have a drink and something to eat. The staff honestly can't do enough for you, the food is delicious and reasonably priced and the pub is done up to a beautiful standard. The fire was on when we went in yesterday so it was beautifully cozy. Will be here again soon, despite living 45 minutes away! It's worth the drive.
Amazing welcome from all the girls working. We were meant to go next door but on hearing what happened they put a special christmas table on for us. Amazing food and big portions and 100% worth coming here! Thank you!
