Me and my Wife decided to go out on our 16th year anniversary while in Pwllheli, walking along we spotted Nomi on the high street and thought we would give it a try. We are so glad we did, the food is out of this world! full of mouth watering flavours, fresh and rich, I was honestly blown away, i would highly recommend going here, its a stunning restaurant and the staff are amazing its more than a 5 star+ from us.nSee yous again soon!
We were quite disappointed with the meal. The chicken was very dry, and the portion of naan was surprisingly small. The saffron rice lacked depth of flavour and tasted rather dilute. We also paid £3.95 for a raita, which was underwhelming and lacked any noticeable flavour.nnIt would be great to see more variety and inclusion of vegetables across the dishes to add some freshness and balance.
What a phenomenal meal at @nomipwllheli. Everything was absolutely exquisite and delicious! We had the Popodum basket with mango chutney/lime pickle/tamarind chutney followed by mixed Bhaji and Chicken Biryani Arancini with Punjabi Butter Chicken & Lamb Malabar and saffron rice and garlic naan. Highly recommended
Fantastic Indian Restaurant. Not the same copy & paste menu and dishes found at every Indian Restaurant in the country.nnSome very welcome alternative dishes and a more reasonable portion size as well, plenty of food without being excessive.nnWine parings on the menu are spot on and greatly improve the classy feel.nnWe were only 1 of 2 tables in at the time which is a shame but the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.
I’ve been to this place a few times now, and honestly, it never disappoints. The staff are always so lovely – they go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect, especially the food. We originally booked for 7:30, then changed it to 6:30, but ended up calling again to see if we could come a little later. They were so accommodating and let us come at 7:15, which was really appreciated.nnWe didn’t have to wait long at all for our table, and the service was spot on from start to finish. It was the twins’ birthday, and they even brought out two complimentary puddings – such a thoughtful touch that made the evening feel extra special.nnThe food? Absolutely incredible. I’ve never had a curry like it – so full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had. Can’t recommend this place enough – already looking forward to our next visit!
