Their pastries/bread is just amazing! I always buy bread for my morning toast, is now a tradition. Brownies are amazing too, well in general everything is amazing, I did not eat anything that wasn’t good. I was very lucky to get a TooGoodToGo today and able to try some different pastries and oh my god!!! So glad I had it! 100% recommended! The best one in Reading
Lots of pastries and breads to choose from! I am so delighted to have tasted there selections. We ordered yesterday and had to come to there bakehouse since we were not able to order the day before- we were craving for there almond croissant- it’s a very filling croissant and tasted really amazing! We also ordered Kouign, Doughnuts, Cruffin, and Vegan Cinnamon Roll. All did not disappoint! To think i’m always craving for there Almond Croissant, sometimes gives me a heartbreak since I can’t have it everyday. Although there was a bit of miscalculation in the receipt because we just ordered 1 Kouign and we got charged for 2. Nevertheless, i still enjoyed my orders and will still order for more next time. PS. I have first tasted some of there pastries from one of the local shops in Reading town centre. Would highly recommend rise bakehouse!
I never really leave reviews but just had to this time. Their bread is the best ever, especially their sourdough. It's just right and tastes great even after a few days. They're doing weekly specials called "mystery loaves" during September which we've ordered twice so far - both absolutely amazing. Their pastries are delicious as well. Can't recommend enough!!
By far the best bakery in Reading. Friendly staff and top quality baked goods. Everything I have tried from there has been absolutely delicious. My personal favourite are the biscoff doughnuts. Arrive early as things go quick!
Excellent selection of bread/ pastries etc. Their pastries in particular are so so tasty, some of the best I've had...so glad they supply regularly to Fidget and Bob and other coffee shops in Reading but also love the free local delivery when you purchase directly. Nice that they change up the flavours of pastries frequently...cronuts and cruffins are a must try and they have a great selection of vegan treats too. And they are very generous! Couldn't recommend this place enough, 10/10 all round!
I’ve been a regular customer at Rise Bakehouse for quite some time now, and their bread and pastry’s have always been fantastic. Their enthusiasm and dedication to their craft is wonderful to see. Keep an eye out for the baguettes, they’re one of my favourites. And for sweet treats, the cruffins are always a hit.
I've been ordering regularly from the team at Rise and have sampled a whole host of different goods. Everything is always excellent: bread, pastries, holiday specials. The sourdough loaf I got last Wednesday though is a strong contender for the BEST BREAD I have EVER eaten. The smell and taste is to die for. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
Having already tried the delicious croissants and cinnamon buns at a café in town who Rise supply, today I finally made it to the shop! The sausage roll was absolutely delicious and lovely friendly service too. Will defo be back :
Hands down the best local artisan sourdough breads around! Something for everyone, including Vegan pastries and savouries! Retail shop is open Wed & Sat 11a-3p! This wonderful gem cannot be missed! The staff is so warm and welcoming.
Incredible bakery, friendly team and a hidden gem in West Reading. Go get yourself a cruffin - you won't be disappointed!
