Caravans are managed and cleaned by Parkdean have been sold to owners. Ours was superb with all mod cons, washing machine, dishwasher, en suite the lot. Very clean and tidy. Park is spotless, Food is OK at prices that are not too bad considering the captive audience. Evening entertainment is abysmal. And is shut down, including the bar by 10.30, there is no where within walking distance so if you were thinking of a few pints in the evening, forget it. There is another bar which is a lovely room but the bar is shut in there and despite a sign on the door promising music, there isn't any. Location is fantastic for family bucket and spade hols, beach is at the bottom of the camp, mixed sand and shingle, dogs allowed on the beach, water is shallow for a good way out making it very safe for children. Even in fantastic weather on the last bank holiday of the year and the last week of the school holidays there was plenty of room and it never felt crowded.
We stayed in a static caravan, it was perfect for a little family get away. Very clean and countryside feel surrounded by trees and a sea view. The pool was excellent for my 3 year old with unlimited access on the days it was open. We went in October so there were 2 days within a week when it was closed so worth checking availability before booking/planning your days out. We were lucky to visit all around the island, it’s less than an hour across to the other side so easy access to all attractions
The most amazing stay at Trafalgar Heights 3. Beautiful caravan, the nicest I have ever been in. En suite bath and toilet to main bedroom, alongside a bathroom with a shower and toilet 2. Tonnes of storage, comfy beds. Open plan kitchen with island for extra space, table and lounge so family time was key. Quiet at the edge of the park so lovely and private, close to pool and facilities. Clean and warm. Fully kitted out and functioning kitchen with every utensil you could need. An amazing selection of Disney DVDs were left for us to use, which the kids happily got through and was a lifesaver for entertainment. So nice to just go back to basics without Netflix or YouTube. Just an absolutely perfect stay.
A very clean and tidy site, easy to park with a shop and amusements. A play area for children included. Excellent quality caravan mobile experience. Good location to get around the Isle of Wight to visit things. A short walk down and your on the beach. Near to Sandown, Shanklin, Gods hill and Newport. A very nice experience.
Was lovely location but problem is you pay for your dog to stay but they need to stay outside on the balcony so you miss the entertainment and have to eat on the balcony. The staff wer miserable on the Monday and Tuesday however the team on later part of the week were much more friendly and willing to help. The security guard was fantastic he opened up the closed bar so we didn't have to eat out on the cold wet balcony. Pity the bar staff were more accommodating like he was. He should be running the bar not them. The safari tent was dirty and cobwebs hanging everywhere. I sneezed most of the time due to dust. It's a shame as it's a lovely location. Food & drinks: Food heated in microwave. Veg was like rubber, being heated in microwave. Drinks were very reasonably priced.
I cannot recommend this place enough!!! I love it! The place is soo friendly, clean and accessible. The team work really hard and the caravans are stunning. Ours was spotless with an en suite! I literally only booked a sun holiday so wasn’t sure! But this holiday park was by far the nicest I’ve stayed in. A short walk and you’re at the beach too!! So peaceful and tranquil. I felt welcome instantly and would definitely return. Loved our little holiday it was amazing.
OMG, we had such a wonderful holiday here!! The accommodation, facilities and service were all second to none! We went on a big family holiday 17 of us!! and not one person wanted to come home!!! Special thanks to the lovely lady who helped us get my two great nieces on the Paw Patrol mission after it had already started. We are eternally grateful to you, the girls had an extra special holiday thanks to you. Rooms: We stayed in the chalets, and they were very clean, tidy and more than functional. Lots of space to move around and the beds were lovely and comfortable.
Cannot complain about customer service or cleanliness of the pool. BUT The minimal I expect in a plus luxury lodge is soap, toilet roll, a bath mat and hand towel. Kitchen was not massively well equipped, a very clean oven but no oven gloves. Also a massive pain to get connected to wifi which we had to call out to help with. I just expected a lot more with the expense .
The chalet I stayed in had just been refurbished and was great. New carpet, beds, sofas. It was lovely but please take an extension lead with you. There's no plug socket near the only mirror. Great location for seeing the island. Buses only run once an hour but bus stop isn't far from the camp. I had a lovely week on my own. Thank you Rooms: 5/5
We booked a short break here staying in a caravan. It was lovely. Very spacious with lots of white goods installed. Bright and Airy with beautiful views. The staff when we checked in were very friendly and helpful. One member of staff went out of their way to get me some information I couldn't find about Ventnor. The park is on the bus route just at the entrance to the park where you can catch a hop on hop off bus for a very reasonable fare. I would highly recommend this park. We are already planning to return as there is still so much we wanted to see. For such a small island, it is packed with many places to see and great cafes .
