The most exclusive address in Bath !?nVisit this exquisite house as it would have been in Georgian times. Lots to see as you wander around the main house and staff quarters. With interesting audio descriptions of each room played on a loop as you browse..
Lovely Museum spread over many floors and rooms of this former Georgian House.nThere are interactive screens and audio in some rooms, which is interesting.nThere is a great collection of artefacts, and the basement staff areas are especially well stocked with interesting displays and items.nThe great thing is that unlike a standard museum, this house is laid out as it would have been at a certain period.nIt is at the end of the Royal Crescent and next to Victoria Park, so close to other lovely places and easy to find.nIt's definitely worth a visit.
The place is incredibly beautiful and clean. If you are visiting Bath for any reason, you must visit the Royal Crescent an architectural perfection of the classic designs.nnThere is a hotel and museum as well that you can go to know more about the history of the crescent.
As you journey around the house, you’ll have the opportunity to meet some of the family, Amelia,Charlotte Jane,Richard, Mrs. Andrews, Mrs. North, and Thomas. To name a few. No1 Royal Crescent rooms have interactive videos and audio as we move throughout the rooms,you actually feel as if your back intime. Fun for the whole family.
Top tips:n1 - visit for their Christmas display - great decorations and special audio tour playing in the rooms.n2 - get the Bloomberg Connects app and follow the free tour the staff can lend you a tablet so you don’t have to battle with the WiFi.n3 - go back as many times as you like until a year after ticket purchase- that’s very good value!
