Quaint, pretty, serene and picturesque environment. Easy access, plenty of parking, beautiful vista/ location. Welcoming and warm ambience.
Worst food, had to wait over an hour and quality was not fit for a dog. Gym staff friendly but overcrowded most times. sauna and steam room constantly well below temperature providing great breeding ground for covid 19 and same for the jacuzzi. Do not waste the money on a company that puts your health at risk.
Came yesterday for mothers day meal with family & had a wonderful time thanks to a great experience from the restaurant. My daughter is autistic and I did not think it would be possible wen she had a meltdown not long after we got there. Thanks to the manager for allowing faye to let us rearrange to eat in another part of restaurant so it was just our family as it was to overwhelming for her.. x
Nizels is expensive for what it is and represents poor value for money. Full membership is over £100 per month and even in the best of times, this is a significant outlay. The product would have to be exceptional to justify these prices but this is not the case despite a refurb a few years ago. A few pointers. Fitness classes are difficult to book thanks to a very complicated booking process and mostly take place in small, dungeon-like, window-less rooms making the whole experience rather depressing. The pool is far too hot if you actually want to swim with both air warm air blasts out of vents above the pool and water temperature circa 30 degrees making the atmosphere really oppressive and unhealthy - not to mention a breeding ground for germs. One can only imagine the energy being wasted particularly in the Summer months, the cost of which will no doubt needlessly end up being paid for by higher membership subs. The cafe is overpriced and the quality of food average. It has become a multi-use space divided into an area for children, a glass surround office space rather like the old smoking rooms at airports and an eating area. None of the furniture is very comfortable and despite the area designated for working, a lot of people sit most of the day on their computers doing their work and making calls. Not the most conducive space for relaxing. Nizels could be so much better with improved management but at these prices it really is one to miss. There are many other facilities nearby offering better value for money.
Had my daughter's 30th birthday party would definitely recommend it, the staff were excellent as well...
A money-grabbing gym who are only interested in pocketing from miss- selling memberships. I joined earlier this year and paid £400 upfront for personal training sessions which would be deducted £50 a go. My trainer left Nizels and trying to secure a replacement for him proved challenging, it took so long to get replies or a suitable time that in the process of moving out of the area and obviously having to terminate my membership, I was left with £250 unspent in PT sessions which Nizels bluntly refused to refund or even credit for future use of facilities if I'm back in the area. A terrible company with nasty attitude. Steer clear of these dodgy guys. Bottom line is that I paid for something that they never delivered.
Really good 18 holes. The course is great and technical. Fairway are large and are easy to play. Green are much more technical and harder to play. I only play 3 times but in 3 different conditions. Winter, summer and autumn and always been a pleasure as the courses are very well maintained. I would recommend
For a relaxing country club its anything but. A great venue if you have a family and want to use it as a children's play area. I joined the club last year thinking it was a relaxing country club, spa, golf and good food. I couldn't be more wrong. The place has small children running around all the time and the food is really poor. I would however say the golf is on point and the staff really look after the course. If you have a family and dont mind the un relaxing environment with sub standard over priced food then this is the place for you.
Great chicken and bacon baguette but expensive. Very nice club bar/dining room.
poor value for money. The overall organisation ability of the management is poor focus is on money and not the members. class bookings is a nightmare. Despite having staff at the cafe service is poor, no acknowledge staff see through you. food orders is slow. the cleanliness and comfort studios is poor.
