This charming tea shop worth visiting with its fantastic staff and delicious food! Perfect for adults and kids. the breakfast was both hearty and well-cooked especially their veggie sausages were really tasty and crispy. setting the stage for an amazing day for kids to have fun in their indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Plenty of toys available in the indoor playground bear in mind you need to book online to avoid any disappointment when it's very busy They also have a small space with pets and animals in cages to explore. The friendly staff only added to the positive experience. I will definitely be back again!
Great little farm shop with some gorgeous meat at the butchers. They also sell Cheshire ice cream which is a bonus. We went in the outdoor area which was fun, loads to do and lots of space, all the animals are close by too. Lovely place for little ones
I have been a customer for many years. It is not the cheapest butchers but high quality meat costs. The steaks are well hung, nicely marbled and very tasty as is the pork. An ideal place to bulk buy and freezer sock
First time visiting nixon's farm and what an amazing place the staff are very welcoming and friendly. It's clean and tidy and lots todo for the whole family also dog friendly there's the farm shop, play areas indoor and outdoor, there's lots of animals too. On-site parking is available. I would definitely recommend a visit.
This is a fantastic farm shop. The cafe called Tea room offers outdoor and indoor areas. I love the homemade beef burger which was fresh and tasty. The hot chocolate looked brilliant too. The staff were responsive and very polite. There were some small animals in a pet barn and many lively sheep in the outdoor grassland. We enjoyed sense of country life in the shop.
Farm food prices, good selection of typical farm shop food. We went more for the kids play area, anything requiring batteries didn't work, the tables weren't cleaned between the play sessions but there's different play areas, bricks, bouncy slide, ride on toys and 2 small football pitches so at £6 for 90 minutes per child it's a good fun for them. Went for Christmas, staff were good, play area still lacks any care, needs some attention and money spent on it. Update. May visit, no more balls added to pit in play area. Some of the more broken toys seemed to have been removed though.
Great facilities for everyone. Went there for certain cuts of meats and they had them in. Very clean all around the area and was busy with lots of families yet still able to get a parking spot. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Oh wow, we will be returning here. We picked up 3 very large minted lamb steaks for £15. Had two coffee lattes and a bacon sandwich which was only just over £10. Staff were very friendly and my granddaughter loved the farm animals. Highly recommended for a visit.
This is a review for the play barn. It was filthy, we visited as it opened and it was obviously it hadn't been cleaned in ages. All the toys were mucky, nothing electrical worked and alot had things or parts missing. Not worth the entrance fee at all. They had an exercise class going on on the football pitches which means all the barn doors were open so it was freezing and the dance music which had swearing was so loud.
The staff are always pleasant and polite. We are regulars at the pet shop, and the lady that is normally on the till is always welcoming. Great place for younger children not so great for +10 due to equipment being catered to younger children. If you want food, a great atmosphere, and fresh meat, then this is definitely the place to nip into.
