I echo other posts concerning light pollution and wanton resource waste at Nirvana Health of Southborough. Driving past at midnight, every light is on, spilling bright illumination to the ground, the nearby reservoir, and the atmosphere. Nesting water birds, nesting turtles, nocturnal animals, migrating birds, navigate by and are disturbed by artificial light. Europeans are conserving all energy possible, in the face of a winter of extreme supply shortage. That Nirvana Health and other Route 9 commercial entities light up their brand in the face of global instability radiates arrogance and disregard for the value of energy resources, and the waste impacting environment and climate. It displays the inefficient, fragmented, and careless use of our health insurance dollars, delivering poorest outcomes at highest cost among developed nations.
I do not appreciate that you keep your buildings lights on all night. It is a tremendous waste of energy. I drive by your building at 8 pm and all of the lights are still on. Get some censors on your lights.
