We went last night after about 4 years of avoiding the restaurant due to its food becoming less than satisfactory. What a change!! The improvement to the last few times we went was massive! The atmosphere was great, the place was busy but we were looked after very well by happy staff. The food was great, every dish ordered was devoured. Fantastic meal and we will be going again! Enjoyed a family meal here on the 7.8.21 fantastic food great prices ,have a wide range of meals to choose from. a very friendly atmosphere and staff set a high standard of service, will be dinning here again 10/10
We dined here at the weekend, if you head upstairs to the toilets it's lovely and warm, but when you come back down the temperature difference is unbelievable, its like stepping into a fridge. Very cold. The restaurant was very busy, so thought it would be a bit warm. The queue for the bar was ridiculous, only two staff on. Food was average, but felt rather rushed, and at no point did anyone come over to ask if the food was OK. Every other restaurant I've been to, the waiter/waitress come over to ask if your are enjoying the meal, but not here for some reason. Probably will not be returning.
The impact of Covid-19 has hit the restaurant industry hard during 2020, Ninos hasn't escaped unscathed. The atmosphere was a little flat that was not helped by the lack of patrons at the time of our visit; issues that may be outside of the control of the staff. The three course meal had generous servings coupled with good service made the whole experience enjoyable nonetheless. Update: February 2023 The restaurant had certainly bounced back since our last visit. The atmosphere was great coupled with great service. We had the Sunday three course menu that frankly was excellent - still the generous servings that were well presented and flavour filled. Totally enjoyed our visit; even though we are not in the valley anymore we are looking forward to our next visit.
Was very unhappy with the service, our waitress tried hard to make up for the comment which was delivered about booking a table for 2 hour??? Not a meal Front of house was dismissive and unhelpful. At 55 this was the worst service I have experienced, I had great expectation as friends had recommended this place to me
Very busy even at teatime. Good food. Great service/staff and nice atmosphere Food: 4/5
The food was ok, but I've had better Italian food. May of been my choice of dishes but I wasn't blown away. Took 45 minutes after the booking time for us to finally sit down for the meal, too.
Had a 3 course meal and was on a special offer they have monday to friday, food was lovly and the servise was bang on very quick, highly recommend and will be going again if ever up here for work again.
I did go a while back as you can see from the date in the pictures so i will be talking about my then visit. The staff were very friendly, food was very good, pricing was decent for itallian restaurant. They also offer complientary breadsticks which are actually very nice and sweet. The only reason i dropped it by one star is because their mocktail selection is very poor. Im not even a fan of the flavours in this mocktail but i like mocktails with my food and this was the only option haha, hopefully when i go back in a month or two they will have added more. Keep up the good work
Really lovely Italian restaurant. Had some delicious mushrooms to start and then a fantastic calzone! Food was delicious, service was excellent and it is a very friendly atmosphere.Food: 5/5
