Celebrated my birthday dinner here. I ordered their baked salmon, and I loved it! My family also loved everything that we ordered, from the pizza, chicken, pasta, and fish. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. I just wish the vegetable side dishes were cooked and everything would have been perfect. They don't charge corkage for cakes, so we're glad that I was able to blow my cake in the restaurant. We were just so full that we weren't able to take a bite of the cake anymore. I'm glad we tried this restaurant. Kid-friendliness: The place was kid friendly as my kids enjoyed the menu as much as we adults did. They only have one high chair for the whole restaurant. My son wanted to use it, but unfortunately, another family with a kid got it first. Hope they could provide more than 1 high chair next time for families with kids. Parking: It was a huge house that was turned into a restaurant. They have a huge lot in the front, enough parking for about 12 cars. They can only accommodate a limited number of diners at a time, so make sure to call in advance to reserve a table. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible as there were no ramps and the floors weren't cemented. Hopefully, they can improve on this.
Happened to select this place to let traffic pass with a few drinks. The place has a very nice ambiance to it, with good parking for several vehicles. It's very obviously a converted home, which makes the place quite endearing. We ordered a salad and gambas to go with our beers, which were ice cold. The food was ok, not bad, but not excellent either. Frankly, I had expected a bit better. To be fair, we did not order entrees, so that's something to go back to for another day. I would like to note that we complained about 1 half-cooked shrimp in our order of gambas and had it brought back to the kitchen for a quick fry. What the chef did was to replace the whole order with a fresh batch, and he even stepped out of the kitchen to acknowledge his mistake. Made me respect him and the establishment a lot more. Makes one glad that this is one restaurant that aims for excellence and endeavors to give their customers a pleasant dining experience.
A typical home/garden-themed restaurant. The place is cozy and guests have options to dine inside the home-like restaurant or outside the beautiful garden. The staff are welcoming and nice. Importantly, the foods are great and not so expensive. However, menu is limited. Could be better to have more choices. Anyway, we super liked their Truffle Pasta and Crispy Pata with Kare-kare Rice! Lastly, they only accept cash. Parking: Has huge parking area.
The idea of turning their rest house to a lodging and dining business was great. The design and the vibe were perfectly combined. We loved the food and the accommodating staff, but it could have been better if they served us breakfast on our last day and cleaned the place after they had their party to not inconvenient their guests.
Nina's Kitchen is a good find near the Southwoods area. It gives off a homey feel, and the staff are cordial and attentive. The food was delectable; the greens used for the salad was fresh & crisp, the lengua con ceras was flavorful. I really liked the crispy pata, which was really good. The outside was indeed crispy, & the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender. However, the kare kare rice did not really taste like kare kare. If you're within the Southwoods area, this is a really good place to dine with friends & family.
We went to this place to have coffee, but since their menu looks appetizing we ended up eating our heavy merienda. Their food was great and easy on the pocket. The place was cozy and it gives you that Tagaytay feels. Highly recommended!
Location-its a perfect hideout when you wanted to be unlocated since its not visible in mainroads and nearby landmarks. Can be accessible thru private car Parking-ample parking space for around 10 vehicles i think Ambiance-very homey as it is a home converted into a restaurant. The interiors also made it a cosy place for bondings and catching up sessions with friends and families. The ventilation though is not good. We dine here for dinner on a sunday night but we cannot feel the coolness of their aircon Food-the food we ordered from the watermelon salad, pizza, pasta, and baked tahong are so-so.. fot me the taste are okay but nothing special. The servings are quite small. It can fit 2-3 people if you are light eaters. But if you are hungry and has a big appetite the serving can only be good for 1-2 persons. Prices are a bit high
We were on our way home when suddenly, a big puddle of rain came pouring down. There was thunder, and we were shookt and frightened. Thankfully, just around the corner, was this hidden gem! So, we decided to stay here to pass the rain. The staff were so kind to help us with getting down flood and puddles everywhere. We had wonderful cakes, delicious pizza, and some old lovely clean street food LOL. The place was nice and cozy, and the staff were really attentive. We would definitely come back for a full meal!
Went back to this place and still the staff were kind to the customers and were accomodating. The ambiance of the place is a plus
