Absolute rip off, bought 2 cakes today Sunday 16th April and they were both as dry as anything. They were not at all fresh, threw them away. Save your money and get food somewhere more honest.
After a successful taste test of all steak Cornish pastries in Fowey - Nile’s Bakery won by a country mile. Loved the steak, the chicken, the cheese & onion - and big fan of the mini pasties!

The size of the large cornish pasty and taste was amazing Fantastic shop really polite staff the kids loved there's would 100% visit again
Saved the visit to here for the last day of our holiday, the cakes and pastries look amazing so wanted to really go all out and get loads to take home with us....... We walked in and it was as if we were invisible, there was a fly walking all over some of the cakes and when I pointed it out one of the staff just replied 'brilliant' so me and the family turned around and walked back out. The only reason I gave 2 stars and not 1, is because it's not the cakes fault for the staff
staff were condescending and the sausage rolls were greasy and generally horrible. uneven pastry surrounding the "sausage" causing inconsistency among bites and overall a hostile palette of tastes most commonly found when licking a brick. Fowey is a lovely place though and i would recommend the castle and the ferry over to Polruan.
