You can't get anything better than this. Absolutely everything is delicious and affordable! She is so nice and I can guarantee you will be full and happy after having lunch here. Hands down for the pork! Absolutely a must :
We had the amazing Tamarind Pork curry with the rice and veg combo, which I felt was perfectly sized for the price that they charge, the food was done so quickly and yet, I can honestly say that I have never had a better curry than this one in the UK! Perhaps I have a different taste palate, but I find that the specific spice and ingredient proportions of Southeast Asian curries are tastier. I adore this cuisine and I'm so glad I was able to find a Burmese restaurant in Manchester. Will be coming back for more.
Had lunch here a few weeks ago. Was absolutely delicious, I had never tried burmese food before. Tamarind pork and noodle soup were delicious. Nbk is a hidden gem!Food: 5/5
We ordered a takeaway for 22 of us this week from Nila for a team work event nearby. The food was absolutely delicious, packed up so that it kept warm, ready exactly on time and the service and interaction planning it all was brilliant. Thank you Nila to you and your teamFood: 5/5
The current prices are excessively high. Despite their claim of no price increases, I vividly remember when it was £6.20, then £6.50, and even back then, the portion size felt inadequate. Notably, they use branded sriracha sauce instead of homemade, as mentioned earlier. The portions barely satisfy even a pigeon's appetite. While larger portions are available for dine-in customers for the same price, those of us with limited breaks, such as the 30-minute lunch window for workers, are restricted to the takeaway option. Moreover, a small samosa is priced at £1, which appears quite steep. Their other cafe in the Cargo Market is similarly pricey, although it does offer a more extensive selection. Despite this, we opted to dine at another food outlet. Unfortunately, in Trafford Park, people are inclined towards affordable, quick, and filling meals rather than small tasting portions.
Came here for the first time today. Was not expecting venue to be as busy at 2pm! Had 1 portion of spicy fries from here with homemade Chili and garlic sauce. They were so good we just had to order another portion! Looking forward to trying other dishes of Nila's. I'm not surprised she is busy. Well done
Great find. Been in twice, two different dishes, both excellent. Great alternative to usual lunches. Parking close by
Great food and hospitality. My favourite spot in Trafford Park for lunch Food: 5/5
Hidden gem of a place tucked out of the way on Trafford Park. I had the Tamarind Porl.which was served with rice and a salad. Pork was really tender and flavourful. Price was really reasonable for lunch.Food: 5/5
Honestly so disappointed, really felt like a soup kitchen. We had the driest rice ever and a vegetable curry which only had chickpeas in...that's it. I was expecting at least a small variety of vegetables. My partner had steak mince and potato and only had a thumbnail sized piece of potato in the whole dish. Wasn't very enjoyable and nothing was Burmese about it. I had two bites and left it.
