Full of snotty couldn't care less student staff who can't be bothered to answer your questions or help you find anything or even price check items. Make you feel like you shouldn't be there. Well if they wanted to give the store a discount feel they have succeeded! It's also full of dogs on leads licking all the stock and putting their snotty noses all over the products! Really disgusting.
It's a nice place to shop. I recommend going during the week because the weekends and bank holidays get extremely crowded and busy. It’s nearly impossible to shop with the number of people around during those times. Another tip: during the week, they often offer significant discounts on trainers and clothes, with reductions ranging from 30% to 50%. There’s also an additional discount if you’re a student, so it’s a great opportunity to save even more. The staff is young and generally very helpful. Every time I’ve asked for assistance, they’ve been friendly and quick to help, which makes the shopping experience more pleasant. However, the shop's layout can be a bit challenging. The corridors are narrow, sometimes making it difficult for two people to pass by each other, which can make it hard to browse comfortably and take your time. The trainers with the biggest discounts are often very disorganized. You might find sizes all mixed up, with a size 6 placed next to a size 10. The discounted models are also scattered around the store, so I recommend checking all the sections to make sure you don’t miss what you’re looking for. Overall, despite some minor inconveniences, I recommend this shop for its great deals and helpful staff.
I got some really good prices in here! The items I got were either 30% or 50% off the outlet price! Felt accomplished leaving this store! Only thing is there isn’t enough tills and the line was long but overall this shop never disappoints.
Went to this shop to buy a pair of Nike weight-lifting gloves. The store is big and they have a variety of sportswear, running shoes and of course, gloves. I was able to get what I went there for. And also, the employees were very helpful. Overall, my experience at this store was pleasant. Will visit again if I need another sports gear.
It is not for anyone who can't deal with large crowds. The shelves are a bit too close and hard to go around. Worth a visit for the price and discount.
Not much in here, it is a bit like going to a TK MAX rummage through yo see if you can find something you like that will fit and is priced to your pocket. The prices were not bargains not even cheap and items are all end of line out dated, not the place to find a bargain
Ever wondered why there isn’t much left when there’s 50% off the back wall or the rail. A certain gang are itching to get into the store at 10am. They run to those areas, also clearly advised by certain staff that there is 50% off the trainers that day and have 30-40 pairs of the decent high end trainers put by for them to purchase. Resold on line to make money, leaving genuine customers looking for a bargain walking away disappointed. Seen it every time I get there and i work in the area and see it every time. Today saw I saw a guy leave and he could barely carry the amount of trainers he’d bought, he had that many!! Poor show Nike Portsmouth!
Nike Outlet store where you can battle each other strangers to grab the cheapest pair of Nike kicks! Some good deals but didn't have some of the higher end limited edition trainers which I went hunting for!
RESELLERS HAVE TAKEN OVER AND THE STAFF CONDONE IT! Every time I've visited this store on opening, there have been about 4-6 resellers standing around the staff doors towards the back of the store. The staff then willingly bring out trainers after trainers for the resellers to purchase. I have even heard them discussing how much profit they make and where they sell them. They come in with their extra large sack trolleys yes, sack trolleys and purchase 100's of shoes between them all. The staff seem to be very engaging with these people and all I can think is that is must boost the stores sales, which benefits the staff!!! Multiple times I have been unable to get trainers in my size, yet the resellers have boxes and boxes of the size I need stacked up next to the customer service desk, ready to buy. The staff do not care about the normal Joe Bloggs and despite there being strict resell rules from online purchases, apparently these don't apply in store.
Nike is very expensive for me, but I found a nice pair of shoes for my boyfriend £27 but the size was very silly. The shoes were much smaller than on the box. I know US numbers are different from UK numbers but anyway. My experience is this: Adidas is true size but Nike is much smaller.
