Love this place. Have been a couple of times now and always have a great experience. The breakfast is delicious, staff are very friendly, cannot fault this place. Good value too and always spotlessly clean. 5/5

Honestly love this little cafe the food is so fresh and tasty! Iv gone four times this month and each time there is 1 or 2 brown haired guys on and they are so polite and nice .. good menu & they serve almond milk so I love this place even more ! My new local even doe I live 20 mins away ! I rarely leave reviews but they deserve it I’m hard to please

I was initially wary to order a coffee here as it looked more like a traditional cafe most people were eating Irish breakfasts with mugs of tea when I came in and was worried it might might not be very good. However, when it came I found I was completely mistaken. Not just one of the best coffees I have had in Dublin but one of the best anywhere. Good strong espresso, perfect in every way. I wish Nico's every success.

I haven’t had an experience this poor in a long time. Tables looked dirty. Ordered some simple food and two drinks. 20 min wait, 30 min, nothing. Then we get one of the foods but no drinks. A few more minutes go by and I decide to check if staff forgot about my order. They apologise and say they’ll serve me as soon as possible. I come back to my table in which my partner was waiting for me to see two random men have invited themselves to sit there, without asking. Staff seems not to care about it and just take their order. 10 more minutes and then I get served my drinks. But still no food. Men in front of me then proceed to get their drinks, dessert, and food faster than any other thing I have received. Turns out, I never received my food. So I went up to pay after almost 1h waiting and the staff magically realise I never received my food, even though they checked on our table for the other men and I asked them for the food beforehand myself. They then started to offer compensations, but honestly, I couldn’t care less and just left to Tesco's and get some food even there they have better service staff. I am a waitress myself but this was just really disappointing. I’m only giving 2 stars because the hot chocolate was decent.

Love Nico's.  We go here to enjoy this cozy friendly spot and to have a wonderful breakfast.  Lunch specials and lots of lovely pastries too.  Owner and staff so very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
