Went for the Globe Café meet up, and it was the most wholesome experience of my entire month so far Love the church and the community and the vibes of this place. i had the pleasure of meeting some of the wonderful people that work at St. Nic's they were amazing, done everything they could to make me and my friend feel welcome and part of the "family" thank you Dave and all the team hope to see you really soon.
What a lovely church, I had a list of places that I wanted to try, but I only ever needed to try St Nic's to know that it was the place for me. It is really friendly and welcoming. The Bible teaching is really good and I found it easy to listen to. The worship is also lively and there are lots of good songs. The facilities are really nice too, plenty of space to be comfortable and not feel like you are packed in. There is a great community of students too, which I found to be great as a student myself.
Stunning church With beautiful people
Started going to this church as a postgraduate student. The church experience here is special, as the congregation is really friendly and feels like family. The community is pretty big but being apart doesn't make you feel tiny at all. Excited for all the ministries and works they are doing in the city.
Very welcoming church! 9am is your more classical 'old school' service, 10:30am for the family goers and 7pm for a more student vibe. Good teaching, disciple building and all round Jesus loving!
a lovely church inside and out after it's refurbishment in 2011 - new steps up to reopened front door, with a shiny new interior including a new balcony with lift access if needed, kitchen, loos including disabled toilet, new sound system and lighting. Open to the public on Thursdays in addition to occasional events linking into the civic calendar Light Night etc and of course all day Sunday for lively worship services, with provision for children at the 10:30am service, 9am more reflective and 'formally' Anglican and 7pm more students and young adult professionals with a lively contemporary sung worship style. I really enjoy being part of this welcoming and active church, which is eager to be a blessing to those it touches and make a meaningful contribution to the life of Nottingham City Centre, as well as, of course sharing the message of Jesus from the Bible and his life transforming power.
It is a very calm and pleasant environment. I'm there every time. I have a good feeling and I am closer to God
Go for sparkles toddler group on a wednesday, food for snack time is prepaired by the amazing volunteers who also have set things for special dietary requirements. Friendly welcoming and plenty for the kids to do.
Great friendly church. Excellent teaching and very welcoming atmosphere. They do amazing thing for the local community
