We visited Nickelodeon Adventure Lakeside over the weekend with family and friends, and overall it was a fun day out — with a few “oh dear” moments thrown in for character nnThe first big win is the space. It’s huge, bright, and well laid out, which means you’re not constantly bumping into people or feeling trapped in a sea of pushchairs.nnThat alone made it feel much more relaxed than I expected. That said, it does get very busy, and the queues for meeting characters and some of the rides can be very long — sometimes long enough to make you question your life choices. A few rides, sadly, didn’t quite feel worth the wait.nnOne area that really needs attention is the soft play. While it’s a great idea, some of the tunnels, slides, and play sections are so dark that a few kids were genuinely scared because they couldn’t see where they were going. Better lighting in those areas would make a huge difference and help children actually enjoy it rather than panic their way through.nnPrice-wise: definitely book in advance or hunt for deals. Walk-up prices are steep, and your wallet will feel it long before SpongeBob cheers you up.nnThe staff, however, were lovely — friendly, helpful, and clearly trying their best even when it was busy. And most importantly, the kids did have a great time, which is really what counts.nnWould I go again? Probably not in a rush — it’s more of a “glad we did it once” kind of place — but if you catch a good deal and go in prepared, it can be a fun day out for the little ones.
Went for my sons 4th birthday! He absolutely loved it! Definitely worth the money! Only problems was its very open and easy to lose sight of children.. also waited to long for the boating school ride just got in to have a photo taken and then the worker asked my son if he wanted to meet chase and Skye which then made my son want to leave and not go on the ride he had been waiting for a long time to go on! Please tell staff not to mention meet and greets when they are about to have a photo taken! The meet and greats amazing in the time we was there we met skye chase and spongebob! Would go back!
Went for my niece's bday. It was nice for children events. Very large space. Though it is shared area, all events can have their own room. Different varieties of play areas for the kids and adults alike.
Our son is a huge Paw Patrol fan, so this was the perfect place for him. He absolutely loved it and the Upside House was such a fun bonus surprise……and the information provided online made our visit smooth. Highly recommend it for families looking for a fun day out!
Nickelodeon Adventure was amazing! My boys had the best time and didn’t stop smiling the whole visit. There was so much for them to do, and everything was bright, fun, and really well set up.nnThe experience was engaging from start to finish and kept them entertained the entire time, which is no small thing! It was such a great day out, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun, memorable experience.
