Wow, best ice cream ever. Service with a smile too. We had just missed the TV cameras by about 10 minutes. I had the Mint Choc Chip and Lemon n Lime so delicious. Definately recommend if you are in the area, cant wait to visit again !Food: 5/5

Always has been and always will be the best ice cream in Parkgate! A must-go-to if you ever find yourself down at the marshes and want an amazing ice cream. I hadn't been back for 6 years, but it was even better than I remember!   Food: 5/5

During a pleasant stroll on Parkgate front we went to Nicholls for a ice cream which we had to have a double scoop waffle cone each which consisted of lemon and lime and black cherry and chocolate and bubble gum have to say that the lemon and lime is the best ice cream I've ever tasted so zesty and refreshing it's the equivalent of a firework display on your tongue one to make the taste buds dance with glee

Always delicious ice creams from here, and service with a smile, draws me back everything I visit! If Nicholls is open you can count on me to pay you a visit.  I love the little bits and bobs that are also on sale, the chocolates were yummy too!  Moral of the story, if you're visiting Parkgate, you MUST visit Nicholls!

Went for an ice cream. I've never been let down yet. The Black Cherry was very nice. It's always worth a visit when you go to Parkgate, regardless of the weather.Food: 4/5

My husband is coeliac registered so we're always wary where we eat. The young lady asked for any intolerances i said gluten so she asked what flavours and told me she would go and get fresh 1s,so there hadnt been any other wafers acidently dropped into the ice creams i wanted.The gluten free wafer cones were kept separately  and we had 4 flavours and 4 cones for £6 great service and care given . Very happy and relaxed with this place

After a lovely walk along the parade we tried the ice cream here. Lovely staff in uniform. Very well organised. Lots of choices. Very very yummy.

Haven't been since I a was a kid, so busy as usual with a line outside. 3 of us had 3 different ice creams and all 3 were the worst ice creams we've had in ages. Really bland. Its popular because of where it is.Food: 2/5
