An organisation which exists entirely to extract money from the poorest and most vulnerable in society through a complex web of confusion and collaboration with DWP. When in receipt of benefits DWP do not make it clear what type of JSA you are on and NHS BSA are ready to pounce if you think you're on one which enables you to claim a prescription. The staff are un-kind, un-helpful and the entire organisation is disconnected with one department having no idea what the other is doing. Make sure everything is in writing and don't trust anything you are told over the phone. Essentially just another tax going towards very well paid civil servants.
It's not even worth wasting time to return the treatment. They will always find a way not to help you. Even if you suffer and can't walk, pay for your treatment and that's it. They totally give a s*** what you have to say. They are only there to take money, not help.
After my elderly Father with the onsets of dementia made a mistake filling in a form, thus envoking a fine Sumudu and the team checked out his case, were very sympathetic to his state if mind, then sorted out his case.nI cannot thank Sumudu and the team enough for being so understanding to my Father's condition.
They operate an open cafe where you can come and purchase food. There's a meal deal for £3.95 that includes a sandwich,snack, and drink. There's an option for a hot meal too for around the same price.nnThe food is good and it's worth popping in if you work local to the BSA
Whilst this is a good saving method. This is extremely slow and the advisors have not one clue of thinking outside the box. It is very obvious that the person who runs this is not technology minding and is stuck in the days of old and slow processes. Time to move with the times NHS as there are far quicker and simpler processes available these days. Your completely out of date and your staff are too.
