We Recently donated and the rules have changed , they are no longer taking older darker, dated furniture and have over priced the stuff they are selling . I'm disappointed that the customers In need will suffer and decent clean and useful furniture will be thrown in landfill because they don't match the ' new criteria ' for the ' new generation of customer' expected. If I knew this in advance I could  have donated to an over priced charity shop . I shan't be doing it again or shopping there in the future.
