Last year we chose to take up NFU Membership and also move our Farm Essentials, Agricultural Vehicles and Home & Lifestyle insurance to NFU Mutual in Ludlow.  The quality of service is first class and even though we are a very small fish in the sea, nothing is too much trouble for the team at Ludlow to sort out. This made a welcome change from the previous company that we were with.  The really good thing is that when you phone them, you do not have to listen to lengthy pre-recorded messages telling you how busy they are and how important you are to them. You just get the minimum statutory information. Normally someone answers quite quickly, but if you have to leave a message, the call is returned within a sensible timescale.  I had to make a claim for a lost hearing aid recently and the support and efficiency in sorting the claim was faultless. It was good to deal with competent and capable people who understood and dealt with the claim in a “no fuss” way.

there are very significant problems around disability discrimination and victimisation within this organisation and they got to board level.  Without these being resolved, the business simply cannot be recommended and is toxic
