Went here to collect a parcel ordered online. Just the case of putting in 5 numbers on iPad in the homeware area and waiting for them to bring it out. Also got an outfit for a newborn girl which was reasonably priced but not always the case. The quality of the clothes are very good though so can't complain.
I will never buy furniture from Next again. I bought a chest of drawers and bed side cabinet that were supposed to be delivered last week. The bedside cabinet was delivered fine but the chest of drawers were over 70kgs and therefore, apparently need 4 people to lift it. Anyone with a brain would have realised that when it was put onto the lorry in the morning and when organising the delivery in the first place.nA 2nd delivery date was booked supposedly with a 4 man team. The driver phoned when he was around the corner, wondering why a 4 man team had been asked for when he had a 20kg bedside cabinet. That had already been delivered last week. He had no chest of drawers on the lorry. Complete incompetence in the organisation. I now have to wait another 2 weeks for it to be redelivered with a 4 man team. I won't hold my breath.nIt is also not the first time I have had issues with Next deliveries, it serms to be a common theme. Never again.
This is not for the store or the products. The staff who served me today ‘Carol’ never gave me gift receipt that I asked for. Asked for it at the beginning, she had a rude tone when speaking and said they do not do gift receipt for gift hamper toiletries - fair enough. Asked gift receipt just for the clothes. I even asked if paying gifts separately would help her as I had few other bits and bobs. She said she can print it separately. At the end I asked again if she put the gift receipt in, she said its in the bag. With trust i did not check- my fault. But did not like the tone she used throughout and also found her dismissive and irresponsible.
Very good service. Had lost my receipt for a return. Scanned the item, confirmed was mine and refunded. Thank you.
