For a very small, locally owned cinema, this place is excellent. If you have a choice between travelling here or travelling up to Ayr for a cinema trip... Travel here, it's closer and far more comfortable than the likes of most of the Odeon chain that we see in major towns and... Really trumps the Ryan Centre cinema in Stranraer in terms of being able to get movies in somewhat closer to the release date of the movie. Food in the cinema is quite expensive as is the normal for cinemas, but at least you're allowed to eat in the cinema as long as you make absolutely sure that you clean up after yourself.

Lovely old building and community run cinema, will always support this cinema rather than a corporate owned one, the atmosphere is entirely grounded , staff are down to earth and chatty, and offers everything and more that an Odeon etc can offer , see you guys soon!

Saw my first film here in 1977. Its comfortable,has a good big screen and great sound, love this place, can be chilly in winter tho!wrap up!
