Brilliant museum and lovely ladies eager to share the history.  Well worth a visit - The GWR  exhibition very interesting for the men and the true life stories of Newton Abbott men who fought in the wars are very moving. The amazing restoration work done on the beautiful wooden fire surround in the entrance - absolutely breathtaking.

Lovely gem of museum tucked away behind the council offices. The salvage display was fascinating, the stories of local people who made history amazing, there were activities for children and the volunteers were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. So pleased we found it!
