Set in my favourite part of Newhaven, with lots of history, lots of trees and a superb view up the Ouse Valley. The churchyard is managed sensitively for wildlife. Built in the 12th Century when Newhaven was Meeching, the east end apparently appears mostly as it did when first built and is of an uncommon design. It's a beautiful, special building and I can still hear the peal of the bells that I heard as as child growing up nearby in the 1970s!

The church is open every Tuesday 11am till 1pm

Translated by Google 5 stars. And why? Newhaven has few old buildings. Think the church is the oldest in Newhaven. You can't compare the other churches that are there with this church. With a nice authentic cemetery, a bit on a hill... Too bad the door was locked when I was there. Would like to see it inside...  Original 5 sterren. En waarom? Newhaven heeft weinig oude gebouwen. Denk het kerkje is wel het oudste van Newhaven. De andere kerken die er zijn kun je ook niet met dit kerkje vergelijken. Met een mooi authentiek kerkhofje erbij, beetje op een heuvel... Jammer dat de deur op slot zat toen ik er was. Had het wel van binnen willen zien...
