At the present moment in time, one feels like the school is facing problems that it cannot yet overcome. A very good school with a good variety of pupils and teachers. It has strong links to Kenya and the community at home. The Sixth Form is DEFINITELY to be recommended. It is a flexible and stimulating environment for the growing mind.
many years ago i went to the school while my sleazy landow was head and hated it i move over to John maisefield in year 8 during this era i would not of recommended newent school however i have scine sent my three boys to the school the youngest in his final year my boys have been far from little angels and the school has worked along side me bending over backwards to try and help with any issue we have ever had i could not possibly complain about a single teacher there at present they all do a good job and try thier hardest for our children and would like to thank and highlight what a tremendous help we have had from sarah smith kelly thomas mr cowan and mrs palmer you are an asset to the school and your constant hard work is very much appreciated
My son currently goes here - and is loving it. The recent Ofsted report I think is a minor blip on an otherwise excellent school.
